Thnx for watching & a big shout out for the sub brotha. You’re gonna love that livescope. Be patient cause there is a learning curve but that’s part of the journey. If you have any questions, feel free to ask bro. I’m no expert but I’ve learned a few things over the last 3yrs. Good luck bro and have fun.

Good video. Just curious, why do you annoynce the time of day when you catch one? Also, are you feeling the crappie thump or bite, or us it all site when you think the fish has the jig? Good stuff.
@JeffreyHughes371523 күн бұрын
Fisherofmen9941..1st, I like the name bro. 2nd, those are both very good questions and I’m glad you asked. I’m using 2 action cameras and also recording my livescope footage that has no audio. Therefore I announce the time to be able to sync the cameras & easily find the specific fish catch on the livescope screen It’s almost impossible to sift through 4-8hrs of livescope without doing that. And yes I’ll either feel the thump or make the fish chase the bait until I feel the resistance before I set the hook. I’m not very good at setting the hook by site so I’ll always wait for the feel before setting the hook. Keep coming back bro with more questions on the upcoming videos
@fisherofmen99413 күн бұрын
@JeffreyHughes37152 Absolutely. Ingenious way of keeping track of the fish you caught. I've gotten decent with livescope, but always looking for tips. Sometimes I'll locate the fish and turn the screen around to keep my old school skills sharp, lol. Keep'em coming and God bless you.

Hey bro thanks for the sub. I did show my pole/reel rig with the barrel weight & Jazzysaint Custom Handtie included. If you’re talking about showing my whole boat/truck rig, you’re right. I’ve been asked that before so it’s something I think I better do pretty soon Plz keep watching. I’ll get it out there to ya.

What setup you have in the front to see the fish? If you send me the links I want to order them asap for my boat
@JeffreyHughes371523 күн бұрын
Yo raptor, thanks for the sub bro. I’m using a 12” Humminbird Solix for mostly mapping, side imaging and down imaging. I’m using the 12” Garmin 8412 strictly for livescope. I ordered everything thru my boat dealership when I bought the boat in Iowa. But if you just look up those specific makes and models they are gonna be the same price no where you look. Garmin unit is $3,500 & Hummibird is $3,200.

I would like to know what type transducer mount are you using
@JeffreyHughes371524 күн бұрын
Hi Keith Ashley. it’s called a cable mount and I got it from “Cornfield Fishing Gear.” Mark Ridl is the owner and builder. He has a host of great mounts etc. I’ve also tried his “Livesweep” mount which runs electronically using a key fob and/or a stomp pedal. He’s a great guy and will treat you right. I’ve been down to his shop in Gilbertsville, Ky several times. Check him out. You can’t go wrong.

great job, but why the 16ft pole? i usually use 7 ft, so just curious.
@JeffreyHughes3715219 күн бұрын
Believe it or not Chris, the crappie even get spooked sometimes in that deep Lake Fork water. Mostly from the waves slapping on my aluminum boat. The 16ftr helps to get the bait at least 2-3ft further out from the boat.

@JeffreyHughes371522 ай бұрын
Man, that’s great to hear and no, it’s not your livescope. That thermocline is ever present on most lakes this time of year. That’s why I wanted to get this word out. I didn’t understand it for many years and I’m hoping it won’t take as long for others to find out about it as it did for me. I can almost guarantee if you put this theory to practice it’ll put more slabs in the boat.
@P.G._FPV2 ай бұрын
@@JeffreyHughes37152 heck my screen was so saturated with the fuzziness I could barely even pick out my jig in it so I was staying above it just because I couldn't see it. LOL
