Just to say it may look like lots of money but a farthing from 100 years ago would be worth 88p in earnings today. Almost a pound on its own, in mid Victorian times it would puchase 3 oysters and a bread and buttered roll to eat it. In 1950 you could buy a six bedroom bungalow on a private island in the thames near London for £2000. In 1924 a dock worker would earn around 4s 6d to 6s 8d per week, Many people earned less than £10 per year.

Thank you. Shame, but it was a bit short notice so I wasn't expecting many in any case. As for more to come, I have a video in edit but it wont be a hunt per-se. It all depends on what time I have to devote to recording and editing

A nice collection! I'm sure you found it on Numista but that Dutch f2,5 from 1938 is only .720 silver. I don't know how the Netherlands came to making coins with that composition.

Thank you. There are a few countries that used .720 but not that many. I suspect that in debasing their currency they didnt need to go as far as what the UK did when .925 was debased to .500.

Nice additions, I'm struck by how magnification can change an image especially with the lower grade coins. Most well circulated coins look better in hand than under the scope. This is not to criticize just an observation.
