Can you use Polysorbate 20 instead of Polysorbate 80? It's what I happen to have on hand. Thanks!

I've had this on my Make List for several years now, and even bought dendritic salt way back in 2022. 😄Tonight, I finally made them as Christmas gifts. I had learned from another channel to take empty mica containers, with all the mica residue still in them, and fill them with coarse salt. Then shake, shake shake, and voila, colored salt! I happened to have some bright pink salt and some pretty purple salt that had been sitting around for awhile, so that's what I used for the regular salt portion. I also added 1oz of PS80 to hopefully prevent a mica ring around the tub, and 1 oz of SLSa so they would be foamy. Finally, due to our humidity, I added the citric acid last, after all other ingredients had been combined and had dried out. These are now packaged and ready to go. They look beautiful and smell wonderful, and I'm tempted to use one myself. Thank you for this great tutorial!!

This rose is so beautiful I’ve made so many of these, but I did it a different way. I cut the circles out and burned it a different way but I like your pattern. It looks more simpler😊

I use newsprint or non-coated flyers from my supermarket to make these. Less heavy & easier to roll. And I roll my paper into tubes, using a think knotting needle. I also begin by taking my paper tubes and forming the star shape first, then roll the discs to fit inside the star form. Your way seems needlessly time consuming. But I see this vid is nine years old so ….

DONT WORRY ABOUT LUSH!! IT'S RETARDED TO THINK THEY CAN CONTROL OUR BUSINESS BECAUSE I LEARNED EMBEDS FROM A BRITTISH LADY LIKE 20 YEARS AGO AND LUSH IS FROM CANADA......THEY DIDN'T CREATE IT...ITS A CONCEPT THAT'S BEEN AROUND WAY LONGER..JERICA IS SPREADING THAT NONSENSE ,SHE IS FROM CANADA HERSELF,SO MAYBE THE CANADIAN GOVERNMENT IS TAKING A CLOSER LOOK AT THEIR COMPANIES BUT HERE IN THE USA,WE HAVE LEGAL RIGHTS 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

I made these twice and both times they turned out fantastic. Thank you so much. I love adding another homemade bath and body craft to my gift bags. People love them. I especially like adding mica for color and I’ve had no problems with staining of my tile or grout. They dissolve somewhat quickly so learning the proper placement in the shower so that the aroma last throughout the shower takes a little practice. I don’t have a standup mixer, but my handheld seems to work fine. I appreciate all of your experience, expertise and enthusiasm, and wanting to share. I have no interest in starting a business, but making these for family and friends is appreciated by all. When I think of the cost savings compared to buying these, I feel super happy and proud of myself.
