I finally made this bar with your recipe and it is FANTASTIC. The only thing I would do differently is to use unscented cocoa butter. The chocolate scent was strong. Good but strong. Thank you so much.

It looks lovely and I want to try it out but I have a few questions. Does the bar leave the shower floor slick? Does it soften or melt easily in normal storage or require special care? Does it leave your skin oily or greasy feeling? Thank you.

Hi Shawna, Great questions. I haven't found this to leave my shower floor slick, however, with any moisturizing skincare product used in the shower you should use caution. Yes, it melts easily. I don't store mine in the shower. After using it I store it out of the shower. A soap dish that drains is a great place to store it. I have incredibly dry skin, just after getting out of the shower my skin is a bit oily. I gently pat my skin dry with a towel and I don't notice a greasy feeling, only happy moisturized skin. Out of the four bars that I poured one refused to set up at all. The other ones had no problem. I did this two days ago. Do they get harder the longer they are left out.

Lush sells 10000... of the bars all over the world. They donot use preservative and I think if there was an issue with the product contamination, the entire worl would know about it. Like with the stainingbath bomb.
