Dude, you’re a lifesaver. I used to have a Yamaha R1 and I was on my Tippy toes. I can never push myself back. If I decide to get another bike, hopefully I can lower it. If the seller can’t do it? Thank you.

You’re supposed to lower the front end (forks through yolks) to keep the geometry of the bike as spec as possible, I don’t know how this bike would handle especially after dropping the rear 2 inches!

@@Stoph345 My taxes went up for my house and I have to anticipate that. I am ashamed of the county.They know how much money that brings to them every year and it would pay for their taxes in one year. I'm not Giving full blame to the owners but I am giving the majority of the blame to them

Tbh it’s not all about height cuz I’m 5’5 but have short legs and my wife is 5’8 maybe 5’9 and I sit taller so it’s more abut legs not height I sit taller but her legs reach way more, also it’s not all about both feet touching the ground

Nice video! Just don't spray WD40 anywhere near your chain, as it is a degreaser and if it gets on your chain, may cause early chain failure. NEVER spray WD40 directly on your chain.

Are my eyes fooling me cos it will not lower the bike by 5 inches that would be silly maybe 5 centimetres Haha you have it next to the 2x4 at 4.30 and it is not 2 1/2 times bigger than the wood 😅

If it's lowered just by the lowering links then you just adjust the slots as he shows in the video. If the bike has been lowered via suspensions then I'd suggest you watch some videos on that. Should be fairly easy to check if you have lowering links installed or not

do you lose performance, when lowering the height ? , I am 5'2" & love to ride the R1but it's to heavy , , it would be nice if yamaha add reverse mode to easily reverse bike out of driveway when facing home , anyways good videos

I have the same bike in blue and I just got the ecu flashed from 2 wheel dyno works it’s insane how much smoother and faster the bike feels now
