during my first genocide attempt i spared monster kid to see what would happen and then accidentally saved and as soon as i heard spear of justice instead of battle against a true hero i just quit and reset the game. nice to see what would have happened if i had played it through

Its a bug. i saved the monster baby and then i killed all the other monsters and the genocide run music is playing for me only when i wanted to fight undyne it was like on the neutral path...
