This is a typical example that a good engine became useless for us in south climates because they did not design a good cooling system for this engine.So any problem with this motor will be water pump, thermostat,radiator,fan.It is also ridiculous the fact that they use only 1.2 liter of coolant for a 652 cc engine.

This Winter I started to paint my GS (full paint + change all available screws + nuts). During disassembly I found suddenly a nut on the floor (the Nut on this Video "004 F650GS removing the engine" 01:25 min) and I have no Idea, where it cames from. On the Video it's also not very clear, where you took it of. Can you pls help me?

Hi I have got a ds650 which is a similar engine to yours and I was wondering when u were shifting through the gear do u push the input shaft the same way as the output to shift through the gear because I am in the process of putting it together and if u didn’t do that I have something wrong
