Speaking as an American, who only heard of these guys thanks to 2 years spent in Germany.... the Scorpions may be better known here, but the Hosen are better. Im glad that this was posted, as i never had the opportunity to actually see them play.

Bruce came to our offices a few years ago, and I asked him to sign my MOR92 ticket... his face was like wow man I remember that day!!... then I pulled out a Run To The Hills 7 inch EP picture disc, and he said Fucking Hell man... got anything else to shock me with??? I said yes! A copy of the missionary position, and we both started laughing, and no one knew what we hell was going on.. MOR92 was the first ever megafest I went to at 15 years of age. We rode from London to Donnington and back the same day.. I still remember that concert like it was yesterday! Thank you for uploading this piece of history, whoever you are!

I went to 3 different La La’s in the 1990s with my high school buddies, I must say I was probably to old, my early 30s to really enjoy the Festival. I will say that Ministry was the loudest band I have ever heard in my life, my ears rang for 3 days. I left the Rockingham Festival early, the heat was unbearable, and I could see that the Festival had run its course. I am glad Chicago picked it up. I am not sure how many of those bands are still together today, in 2025. The music for me was a live in the moment style of who could be more insane and loudest, perhaps the Chili Peppers and Green Day are the only bands still on the road. Each decade seems to have its own music experience. Good times but this traveling circus could not continue. Too much of everything. Great video a nice snapshot of a period of time when music festivals were over the top. Cheers 🍻

My ex-wife purchased a VHS copy of this show for a surprise bday present for me around 2002. eBay. I copied it to DVD and shared it on social media with Savatage fans as well as mailing out copies of it for free to a few people. Someone in a Savatage group on FB got a hold of it and re-mastered the audio and video and didn't bother to send me a copy... He did a good job with the improvement of this recording.. Hopefully it will show up on KZbin someday. This show was about a month before Criss Olivia's death. 😢 First time I saw Savatage live was in 1987. In 2017, 30 yrs. after meeting a girlfriend at the 87 show, we finally married.
