Here's where I imagine this playing... You beat Ghetsis and save Unova, and the ending proceeds as normal until you're alone with N and he's giving his farewell speech. The speech is only slightly different, maybe a few phrasing changes and more emphasis on encouraging you, and he's got the same smile. Then, with a final, "Farewell!" he walks to the hole his dragon made in the wall, but instead of leaving on his dragon, he jumps. There's no time to do anything to stop his fall. You don't hear his body hit the ground, but his dragon immediately turns back into a stone, and that's enough for you to know that though you might have saved Unova, you didn't save *everyone*. Cheren and Alder return to find you sitting on the castle floor, listlessly looking out the hole in the wall. As you describe what happened, your voice goes from monotone to squeaky and shaking, and it's not long before you're openly crying. This wasn't how it was supposed to end. Something has gone horribly wrong, you just know it, but you can't turn back time. This is your reality now. The police recover N's body not long after. You see it on the news. The common theory behind his suicide is that he chose to die rather than be inevitably found and arrested by the interpol. They're wrong, you just know it. N was the kind of person who could've evaded arrest forever, if he so wished. No, it wasn't about avoiding prison. In the end, N simply couldn't bear the truth.

I had this on autoplay after hearing your alola elite 4 arrangement. I never played violet and scarlet so I never heard this theme originally. I was convinced this was a mmo rpg soundtrack and was pleasantly surprised by this.

i LOVE the aether themes so much there’s not enough remixes

When it comes to city music Nimbasa is good but Driftvail is goated.

The slowed tempo makes the intro much more calming, almost like MIST from Parasite Eve 2.

Everyone says that giratina is pokemon-satan, but I think it is just a poor, lonely, misunderstood creature. sure, It used to lash out on arceus, but every child has a moment like that. But it had such a big role to play in the universe, keeping everything distorted and unholy at bounds. but it failed, and was basically sent to hell. It was replaced by several humans that had no power exept leadership. Giritina, enraged wanted to destroy arceus. It had every right to. even it's cry sounds like a distorted scream. Giratina should serve as a reminder that everybody makes mistakes, no matter who they are, and that those mistakes can make someone almost completely misunderstood. there is a reason it is not a dark type.

Aether Foundation Lille was the remix that drew to this channel and this one is just as great as it great job.

USUM should've been more of a wacky alternate universe where stuff like this happened instead of being glorified DLC.

This theme kicks ASS! This definitely fits perfectly in a what-if scenario! Honestly, the whole deal with the Aether Foundation is what made me enjoy Sun and Moon so much!

That would be cool if Ultra sun & moon instead of just be an useless extension of sun & moon could be the same game with role changed but not the personnality. That will be completely in the theme of "travel others dimensions"

Oh wow... this is such a good remix!!! This would fit perfectly if he'd been working with the villains, but also it's funny to imagine something this epic playing when he just grows up to be a responsible caretaker at the redeemed Aether Foundation lol, he would be that dramatic when battling people to test their bond with their Pokemon or something!

Lusamine calling Gladion "the perfect child" for actually sticking around and listening to his mother while "that ungrateful Lillie" runs away. When we first meet Gladion, we are led to believe he's trying to retrieve Nebby from Lillie because "it was stolen and could really hurt someone since Lillie can't control its power", although Gladion is oblivious to his mother's true intentions, but not forever. He thinks hes battling us for the rught reasons, that we are as foolish and blind as Lillie for trying to protect a creature that doesnt belong. Maybe Gladion didn't meet Type: Null here, so he never saw the dark side of Aether Foundation. Maybe he thinks his mother changed because of Cosmog running free. Who knows. It's interesting to think about. Although I can imagine Lusamine comparing her "golden child" to Lillie before we first battle her, just tearing down poor Lillie in front of her brother. Her brother, despite doing everything his mother says, will stand up for Lillie because he knows his sister isnt some delinquent. She has a good heart.

A perfect follow up after your Aether Lillie battle theme. I wasn’t expecting this due to how long ago the fanmade Lillie theme had released, but better late than never as it was worth the wait. Although, this gets me thinking of some timeline where Ultra Sun & Ultra Moon was even more of an alternate timeline from the original Gen 7 games.
