@@DeborahSessions thanks for the feedback much appreciated. On my stay there was some entertainment in the lobby as well as the theatre. In the lobby there’s a calendar for when and at what time you will find the entertainment. There was something schedule for everyday of the week. There was little entertainment at the pool during the day but keep in mind that it was low season. Hope this answers your questions. Thanks for watching my video and your comment 😎🏝️🫶

@@ÉmilieSuttie-Morin yes. There’s one directly in the beach near the adult only section. You will find all the non motorized vehicles there as well. And there’s another one a little further done near the Aston fiesta section next to the beach so that one is not directly in the beach, maybe 5 metres away. Hope this helps. How much is the cost to get the Level upgrade? Is there a price difference from your travel agent in Canada vs getting upgraded at the resort? Excellent video, keep up the excellent work!

@@canstaff it depends on the time of year. We were there in May and paid just under 1000$. If you go there for Christmas and march break the price will be much higher. I book all my trips on sell off vacation and before booking I’m checking that site as much as ten times a day three months in advance to have the best deal. @@lanagooding it’s a pretty big resort. We were in the splash area. Our bungalow was in front of the water park which was fun. As adults we had a great time at the water park. I have more videos or the resort on my channel. Food, service, cleanliness was great. I should also have a full uncut tour of the resort explaining where everything is located on the resort, you’ll just need to do a bit of searching in my channel. Did you actually have a vape taken away from you? I was wanting to visit Cuba with my mom, she quit smoking years ago but she still vapes unfortunately.

@@tee6394 not on this trip but last month in Cayo coco they had a huge blitz. The reason why Canadian can’t come in with vapes is because THC is legal in Canada. In May of 2014 my GF didn’t have any issues but in July when I went to Cayo coco airport everyone was getting pulled aside. It wasn’t as bad in Santa Clara. I dont vape but my GF does. I will be retuning on December 20th so you can send me another message asking me if she was able to past thru the boarders.

How does the beach compare to Sanctuary CSM. We were there same time as you.. very wavy but I could see how it would be gorgeous on a calm day.

@ the beach at the grand Aston was nice but some weeds and rocks in the ocean. If you go towards the Grand Sirenis and the one gallery the beach is wider and the sand in the ocean is nice. Those two resort are only a few minute walk. On the first I got there we had lots of waves but then it was calm down, no waves infront of the grand Aston but lots of wind and waves at the grand Sirenis and one gallery.

@@fannyv94 I believe it was three. I have a vlog on my channel of this resort probably going to all the a la carte that we were entitle too. I’m coming back from the Grand Aston Las Brujas and I was able to do 4 a la carte as they were doing a rotation between the buffet and the a la carte as it’s low season and to reduce the waist. I love the pics. I am looking to book here in Feb for myself and 2 university student daughters for their spring break. I have never been to Cuba and also recognize the state this country is in. I know we won’t starve, but I am a stickler for cleanliness and having a towel for the shower and beach. Just trying to determine which resort that is clean and has a great beach.

@@marikakovacs-zm2zv I would say that the Grand Aston Cayo Paredon is one of the cleanest and well maintain resort I’ve been too in Cuba, Dominican Republic and Mexico. The food was great, some lack of drinks option but they were always able to find some substitute, great service, the beach was well maintained ect. One of my top 5 that I would recommend to Cuba. @@stevenmaw7491 I haven’t been but from what I’ve heard of friends it’s a great location. If you like to do some snorkeling it’s a great location. I’ll probably be there in July to check it out. Currently at the Grand Aston Las Brujas, in December I’ll be at the One Gallery then looking at the end of January at the Memories or the Grand Sirenis Cayo Santa Maria 🤷🫶 thanks for ur comment 🍻

We stayed at the Grand Sirenis Cayo Santa Maria which is right beside the One Gallery. It was a nice hotel. We had a couple issues, like getting the bedding for our Daughter's bed (did not receive it until 11:30pm) and some service issues at the lobby bar (always busy) but the hotel is nice and the beach is awesome. That said, it shares the beach with the One Gallery. We had a foam party one afternoon which our Daughter loved!

@@billylacharity3443 I’m am currently to the grand Sirenis at the Grand Aston. Yesterday I went for a walk I. The beach in front of the Grand Sirenis and the one gallery. Nice n large beach compared to the Grand Aston. So far the Geand Aston Las Brujas is ok, the food n service is great, some minor wear n tear in the room, it’s a long walk to the beach but over all it’s great. Vaping is legal for all except for Canadians. Some people , custom took picture of sealed vape and they were able to go through. They took all mine away.

Great video thank you! Were you just in a deluxe room? Planning to go here with my mom and we are hoping to get in either that block or block 5 as she is elderly and it seems like the most convenient location for her. We are located in Toronto, so another very busy airport no matter what time the flight is, lol. Edit: I see you mentioned poutine, if I am not mistaken, they do poutine at the MGM hotels in Cayo Guillermo going off of some videos I have watched.

Marco awesome video bro, super cool to see you swam with the sharks and my kids and I laughed about your pee comment 😅😂. As we discussed my family and I went to Grand Aston Cayo Paredon in July 2024 and had a fantastic time. One of the best memories was eating at the beach bar for lunch with my feet in the sand. They always had a nice selection of choices and we skipped the buffet many times. Some great video of you snorkeling near the One Gallery Resort too. We went between the Grand Aston Resort and Grand Sirenis Resort as well as towards the Dhawa Resort. Some cool spots for sure. I need to post up my videos too. Cheers mi hermano ❤🇨🇺

@marcomillette4012 Hola mi amigo, yes Grand Aston Cayo Paredon is definitely in my top 5 Resort Destinations for Cuba...mi familia and I had an exceptional time and all the boxes were checked for this resort if you know what I mean. Yes I agree, hope to meet up this month as well since we will both be in the same area of Cuba. Our plans to video snorkeling together with my friend as a local guide would be amazing. The collaboration for underwater content would be memorable for both our KZbin channels for sure. Please give him and I a shout out in your next video...haha. ...And if we could meet up with Mike Fisher from @Finding-Fish who is also in the area..wow. the time would be even more Epic 🙏🏽 Either way be safe, enjoy your vacation and look forward to seeing more of your fantastic videos mi amigo ❤🇨🇺

Hi! Great video! Do you recall your room number and if you had an Oceanview? I notice the bathroom has lighter tile than others.Was there a benefit to a Diamond package - wine in the room? Thanks!

@@patriciab4073 thanks for the feed back. Nice matter what room you will be in you will not have access to the ocean view as the trees are too tall. When I was at the resort they did not offer diamond club. I spoke to one of the butler last week “ Micheal” and he mentioned that starting next year they will offer the bison club for the first time but that the service will be as great for all guests. Diamond club will probably give you better access to the beach. But that’s about it. I have other videos of the Royalton on my channel with more explanations. I just got back from the grand Aston Cayo Paredon and tomorrow I’m flying to Cayo Santa Maria at the grand Aston las brujas not too far away from the Royalton if ever your looking for more hotel ideals. Y a 2 ans, après plus de 25 voyages a Cuba, cet hôtel fut le pire de notre vie.... Personnel "froid,", pas de vin,manque de bière, de café, de lait .. les viande c'était de gros morceau de graisse... (On tentait de nous faire avaler que c était a cause de pénurie Alors qu'il y avait tout a l'hôtel juste a coté... Tout comme au memories flamenco ou des amis étaient en même temps que nous).... Gros 'bloc', .. malgré les 800 chambre on a vite fait le tour ... Animations y avait rien..... J'espère que ça a changé et que vous avez aimé! (Nous pas du tout!)

@@colingryms3373 usually diamond club you will have premium drinks, access to vip locations such as bars and restaurants but I don’t recall seeing any of those at this resort. Even if this resort offers diamond club I wouldn’t recommend it as it’s a smaller resort and it’s adults only. My opinion it’s that You’ll have the diamond club experience no matter what. Awesome video! I did many resorts in Cayo Santa Maria . We loved the Grand Sirenis Cayo Santa Maria, they were building the One Gallery beside it when I went. The beach between these two resorts is where the cataraman excursions were bringing people, it’s similar to Playa Pilar 😃 I would say The One Gallery has a bit more of a party crowd and entertainment… but I would go to one of these 2 for that exact location for the beach plus they are the first stops after the long bus ride.

@@TR-thegreat they did not give me a bracelet until I checked but I was still able to go to the buffets and bars. The gift shop is pretty small. They have rum, cigarette, I got myself a lighter, but it’s pretty minimum on what they offer.

The Dhawa food, service, cleanliness, drink ect was great really nothing to complain but I got the same thing at the grand Aston plus the resort is closer, the beach is better, a little more entertainment at night. If you’re going to Cuba for the beach the grand Aston is the one for you. The nicest beach I’ve seen in Cuba is in Cayo Santa Maria where the memories, the Royalton, starfish and the playa Cayo Santa Maria is located. Let me n ow if you have another questions.
