Hey i feel your pain, i used to race 9-13 races a weekend to stay in the top 10 in my region since i couldn't make every round, had a crash in 2019 and that started my exit from racing. Did 1 to 2 races after that and left the scene for a few yrs. Fast forward to now and i bought a zx4rr and now about to start back racing next season, so sometimes we need time off from our passions to rekindle that love we once had. You'll be back......THEY ALWAYS COME BACK 😂

Thank you for posting this. Big help prepping for next year 🙏 good to hear someone else say they started riding at 29. I am 28 and just started riding this year and idk what happened but motorcycles have turned my life upside down in a good way. Sounds fake but people in real life dont believe me when i tell them how long ive been riding and it has given me the confidence to try track days and personally hoping to race at some point. I guess the 20 years of riding horses has helped some. Anyway. Never thought i would relate to Ricky Bobby but here i am 😭🫠🏍💨💨💨💨 age is but a number

How is CBR600RR for longer rides?! Like 2-3+ hour rides?! It is the typical ''My wrist and arm muscles and my back hurts'' type of deal or can you do some longer riding on it?! I'm asking because CBR600RR is one of the bikes I'm interested in getting and I've already seen people do some long distance travel on it, so if the longer riding times are kind of OK, then I'll eliminate adventure bikes from my list because I really want a supersport but not if the riding makes your whole back muscles and arms hurt like a typical supersport does.

What I will miss is the personality, even if you think it was fake, or not yourself, you were wickedly approachable. It was very nice to stumble on your channel, and enjoy this oasis, even if it's time to move on and see where the next one is. I do think you have to want it. If you don't you won't get it. Would you want someone who doesn't want it to get it? We hate when people get fame for BS reasons they didn't achieve. I understand, and I'm not upset. I appreciate you explained your way out, and have a plan. You're not giving up; you're moving on. I'll miss you bro, and I imagine in time you'll miss track times, but I hope the best. Ride safe, and be funny. I want to see success.

I mean I dont think I could ever give up the track. That said racing has a way of starting to feel like a job rather than fun since when you hit a plateau that you see other people not hitting it can be very discouraging. That said, I get the idea of buying and riding bikes you find enjoyable. I would say owning bikes and riding them for strictly enjoyability rather than competition is important.

@@Master_Yoshilet me respond to you from my real channel then… I watched the whole thing. Cause for me, seeing other brothas in the mix makes me proud. I watch both you and smith shot… if you can’t tell by my channel info… I have the exact same grind as you, same results too. But here’s the point. I just go away when I felt like the goal wasn’t achieved and then I came back simply just to do this shit for my kids and they’re friends entertainment. My little brother is Mike myke, nigga makes hundreds of thousand from social media. He always tells me to be my real self, but I never do on KZbin, so I understand your exact issues with KZbin persona… but guess what. I just keep doing this shit just to leave my digital footprint, not to get any money. Not to build a following. Simply just because it entertains me. My journey is now on training my son, he has a catalogue thru these videos of his beginning steps. When he looks back, he will see his history. If you were just doing it for money. Then coo… we will holla. But as I said, I’ve enjoyed watching your content to reference it with some things I was experiencing on 2 wheels. But if you’re leaving the space. Aiight den cuh. Stay safe.✌🏾

Also I'm right there with you on the cost/smile ratio at the track. I'm taking next year off, and I'm not sure I'll return. -Cody L.

I feel the same way right now. I hit my goal of getting a certain time at my local track, made it to advanced group, but for me I do it every month. I take it too seriously and with that I feel like its a job. Other riders don't help either because I always feel like I have to be faster than the next guy. A part of me wishes I never met anyone or made friends at the track because it always feels like a competition. Especially if you met some guys in the novice and some moved on without you even though you guys started at the same time. I have not stopped and I probably wont , but for anyone feeling the same way you need to focus on enjoying yourself. At the end of the day no one in this comment section nor I will ever reach the professional level. My instructor had told me when he moved me to advanced "ride your own ride and fuck everyone else"

It's all good, do what you feel is right. As far as the KZbin thing goes, you ain't going to make it unless you put on a persona and sell yourself out. Those who watch people who are real and true to themselves, are few and far inbetween..... you really have to push a certain image. And you have to know what field you're going into, there's just not that much interest as far as serious track riding goes. Now, there are a few moto vloggers and such that has a sizeable following but most of them are just clowns and riding like an idiot out on public roads. You have to appeal to the young people, that's where the draw is and always have been..... from music to movies to everything. Most successful people are sellouts, just how it is in the industry.

1 hunned on sports riding thing. KZbin thing is a madness cuz, it take a certain personality to embrace that grind, I ain't got it. Do think if you just keep rolling that snowball it gets bigger, but you also gotta know when to cut a loss and move on. Time is super short, what you can spend it on is limited af.
