As general view is not bad. Interesting to know the price. Nosy Be is an expensive peace of Mada, anyway. You didn't answer my question is it possible to find a moto like your a Tana? I consider 1000 euros for a new moto, maybe less if Tana. Idea is to go around for some time and see where is my place to put a foot. Europe is in decline in many aspects, SouthEast Asia is dissappointing. Madagascar without development, but many human features are conserved.

The thing is Dating sites in different countries are used for different things in France you have a good chance of finding a wife or a long term relationship but the dating sites with Madagascar girls on them are smart girls that know they can get more money and an easy life with a foreign sugar daddy most are already on there fourth daddy or are playing 4 at a time , put it this way if I found my daughter on an American dating site and I was living in America with her I would think I hope she finds love, if I seen her on a dating site in Madagascar I would think my daughter is a prostitute

Two Malagasy people were sentenced to forced labor for life on Monday, October 12, for the assassination of a couple of French restaurateurs in Tuléar, in the southwest of the country, in 2012. The ordinary criminal court of Tuléar followed the indictment of the attorney general, finding guilty the two main accused, Victorien Lahiniriko and Régis Alain. Eight other defendants were acquitted with the benefit of the doubt. On April 12, 2012, Johanna Delahaye, 31, and her partner Gérald Fontaine, 41, went by quad to a wild beach to swim. Gérald's body was discovered nine days later, transported 60 km from Tuléar. It had taken three days of searching to find Johanna's, closer to the beach. Both bodies were found mutilated. The young woman, pregnant, was "almost decapitated", while her companion had "his limbs cut off", according to one of the families' lawyers, Me Frank Berton. A double assassination still murky The motive for this assassination remains unclear. “We had two questions. Who murdered them? That, we know, are those who were sentenced to forced labor for life. Why? There, we have no answer,” declared the lawyer. “The police investigation was very poorly done. We did not know whether the person who ordered it was real or not,” he added. The alleged sponsor, Roméo Ratsimbazafy, a local businessman and politician, denied any involvement during the trial. He was not found guilty. “I'm happy to be acquitted but this story destroyed me,” he reacted. “It's as if someone had killed me, my name was tarnished.” The two accused Victorien Lahiniriko and Régis Alain were also ordered to jointly pay 114 million ariary (approximately 32,000 euros) in damages to each of the two families of the victims. These two carpenters had pleaded not guilty. They explained that they confessed during the investigation, under pressure from the police. Monday, when the trial resumed, after ten months of interruption, they said they found cash and a bank card from one of the victims while walking the day after the tragedy, April 13, 2012, on the beach. For the return, this week, before the criminal court, only two of the 16 witnesses responded. Among them, Ghislaine Ratsimbazafy, Romeo's sister. The latter would, according to the prosecution, have maintained a relationship with Gérald Fontaine before the arrival in Madagascar of his partner, Johanna Delahaye.

Scare, but real topic. There is also a documentary on malagasy prison. In one of the poorest country of the world (I heard recently Madagascar left top 10 on poverty, but think could recuperate quickly) security/crimes must be a part of life. On my opinion not so much crime as expected. Remember as a girl was really scared on idea to take car on occasion from Mangily instead of regular bus (in evening we returned to Toliara as usual). She explained me about risc of robbery and after possibility to be throwed away from moving car😮. I looked long at her, but she was serious. Host in Toliara and Tana if I remained alone, usually closed the door with key. A Tamatave before the fall of dark I was always inside. This is a prison-paradise😅 life for vasah in Madagascar, when from many funny things you deprived yourself after sunset in a country with mafana mafana all day long. It's true one evening I reached one pub near the biggest building in Toliara, with my guide. After that walked a big portion in the dark (one part of that trip is along the street you posted a short video with moto in Toliara) whitout someone pointed on me. I think I need a big "plantation" with fence and have a gun😂 to feel safe in the dark in Madagascar...

@@passivenomads John Gimlette, autor of "Gardens of mars" (book about Madagascar ) said that "perception of crime is far worse than actuality" and this presumption is confirmed by talks with diplomats working in the country. On site of Canadian embassy I once read they sconsidered visiting country for the women. This is strange. African countries, because of their cultural easy approach to sex, must not be so dangerous as seems. But who knows. We are white crows in Madagascar, someone could be tented, especially if your behavior show disrespect or if you expose yourself. For example, I kept my phone in a large open pocket and 2 times (once a Toliara and once a Tana) someone was tented to steal it when passed crowded area. Changed where to keep it and tentations disappeared... Now also because the road to Mangily is safer. I encountered a "fresh" arrived french in Tana with the intention to go to Mangily. He said he was at least 15 years ago and there was no good road between Toliara and Mangily, fishing "technologies" remains the same (his intention of visiting the village was centred most on this aspect of the sea). Ariary is still dropping these days, good reason for crime to rise😉📈....

As part of my work I had to visit prisoners in Africa and Asia. Not in Madagascar. The prison authorities in these two continents have a certain consideration towards foreign prisoners ,especially white.Unless they are complete crooks. In some countries they even go to a .better prison than the locals I have eaten kassava and it has a certain flavour.Maybe some foreigners would not like it the first time I don't think that in Madagascar it all depends on who you know. I thought that because of the people you said you knew you would get off free ( and for free) even though they couldn't prove you threatened to kill they have given you a conditional, delayed prison sentence and they got money from you if I understood well For all the above and the joy they have taken from you ,at least for a while,I am very sorry
