I bought this and suddenly regretted selling my Instax Mini 8 . I still like suprise shots than this. And the quality feels more like authentic and vintage. Mini Evo feels likes a digital camera that has printer.

I am adding this bit that I have cut and pasted from an review I did on line in case it also helps someone. l have spent hours working out why I couldn’t use Party Print on the Instax mini Link 2. At the moment it seems you can't! But there is a workaround. Go to Settings. Change Link/Link 2 settings to Link (orange selection). Party Print will appear in the Fun menu instead of Instax Air (you just go back and select Link 2 to get the Air settings back). Select party mode. Scroll through instructions. Select Printer Owner. Get other people to scan the QR code. They have to go through lots of settings then click Party Mode and Other Person. You all then see each other in your menus. Select the collage shape. I'd turn off Surprise. You can all then click on the icon and upload a photo and click send to share your part of the collage with others. Once all done click Print. You can't add any effects and tbh it's not that great but I feel satisfied that I sussed out how to do it! Also, when using the Instax Air option to draw etc on the photo using the pinter you need to point the green light on the printer at the camera on the iphone (not at the iphone screen). That took me a while to work out too!

I just wanted to say that I loved the video itself. The frame you use in each part of the video the details, the background and also you described so well the product. So concise that I just completely. Love it!

I still have my SQ-20 hybrid square cam. I loved it but the look of it was just so ehhhhhh. Personally I’m very happy to see the mini evo. It’s got a sleeker design and less cumbersome. although I’d prefer a square or wide film, I can deal with mini film.

Idk. For me this feels like all the 'magic' of the Instax analog experience is gone with this camera by having this hybrid system. Also, micro USB charging in a camera launching late 2021? Really?

This thing is so cool I wanna buy it but at the same time I feel like the whole charm of the Instax cameras is that you wait to see how the picture comes out and always have that cool moment of seeing it when it’s done developing. This would save film tho if you mess up the shot
