I am moving out of Massachusetts to get away from the arctic blasts and Democrats. I cannot stand a Communist loving Democrat. I do not appreciate their failed Marxist policies. I also want a state who does not tax pensions and SSI. I would love 1-2 acres. I am tired of the cold. I am tired of Democrats. Happy new Year! GOD Bless America! Trump 2025

Greetings: Yes, it's a mixed bag, but there are reasons for that. It involves an army coming into Nuevo Mexico, and conquering the state with 2,000 well supplied troops led by Gen. Stephen Watts Kearney. The army? The U S. Army of the West.! This was during the American-Mexican War (1846-48) which resulted in Mexico ceding what is now the American Southwest in 1848 to the U.S. in the Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo which ended the war. My reference to the war as the American-Mexican War, is in my opinion more appropriate as the U.S. was the aggressor. President Lincoln, as a Congressman, argued against the war. President and Gen. Ulysses S. Grant said that it was one of the best examples of land grabbing by a stronger more powerful nation against a much weaker one. Be that as it may, soon after the war, Spanish Americans of New Mexico, began to lose their Land Grants to criminal rings, most notable the "Santa Fe Ring" consisting of mostly wealthy Anglos or white Americans who moved here after the war. If that wasn't bad enough, Congress was the biggest thief of the Land Grants of the Spanish Americans creating U.S. Forest Service, Bureau of Land Management et. al.leaving the local Spanish Americans without the natural resources that could have made all the difference today vís-a -vís the poverty level in this historic state. Therefore, it's not the fault of citizens of Spanish American and Native Americans in New Mexico, it was the spoils of war resulting in systematically dispossessing them of their lands which led to poverty levels beginning 132 years ago. It was not only the U.S. Government taking Land Grants, it was also the courts. In the early 1890's, the U.S Court of Private Land Claims was established to adjudicate the Land Grants as to their validity. The Court reviewed about 32 million acres of Land Grants and approved a little over a million acres. With the loss of land, it lead directly to the poverty rate today, to a large extent. --- Now to my constructive criticism of your video of New Mexico and why people do not want to move here. First the name, New Mexico. Magazine has, for many years, has had a running article, "One of our 50 is missing," where stories of New Mexicans traveling to other U.S. states and people they meet say things like, "Did you need to get a Passport to visit here," or, "You speak English very well for being from Mexico," -- you get the picture! Now that I've covered why people are reluctant to move here, I have other reasons but I will refrain from explaining them to get to my main point of your video. YOU DON'T MENTION THE SPANISH AMERICANS and our over 432 years of settlement in New Mexico, since 1598. That beats Plymouth Rock, VA by 22 years. The resilient pioneers under the leadership of Governor and Capitan General Don Juan de Oñate, established the first seat of government in what today is the U.S. Moreover, the first militia established in 1598 by said governor.. New Mexico s historic churches, many hundreds of years old, the oldest wine growing region in the U.S. (You mentioned that.) There is a lot more to say, for example, New Mexico is home to the "Lourdes of America,"" the Santuario de Chimayo, where over 30,000 people make pilgrimages from all over the state walking to this holy shrine of miracles, whose faith has cured thousands for over 200 years. There's more! However, I think you get my point, which is more mention, when you update the video, of the oldest pioneers in the U.S. the Spanish Americans of New Mexico. In closing, ,to borrow from popular, and well loved, American former broadcaster, Paul Harvey, "And, now you know the rest of the story." Sincerely yours, (s) Robert A. Naranjo, M.A. La Villa de Santa Cruz, (Est. 1695), New Mexico, USA. ***

This video is all BS. There is no free land available & homestead act has been repealed 100 yrs ago. Most of this land or lots most likely have property tax liens against them, which means you will be paying at minimum 1/2 of the fair market value for the property

Florida is an overpriced dump. People have no integrity whatsoever. Scams everywhere. Corruption everywhere. Rudeness everywhere and the most entitled immigrants you will ever meet in your life. Bad traffic, "no state tax" but fees are *EVERYWHERE*, horrible drivers, extremely humid summers and hurricanes. November to March/April is the best time to visit, but expected it to be NYC with palm trees. Forget this place.

I'm from Alaska. I was called stupid and that I would never get a better education other than 10th grade by the faculty and principle, since the 3rd grade. Thats 8 years old for those that won't do the math. I went on to attend college going for my AA degree eventually finding my calling in Audio Engineering. The Systemic Racism here in Alaska is evident, even as I child I could tell I was treated differently. Asking the teachers to help defend my well-being was not a good idea...they joined in on the fun and it felt like a twilight zone. My father told me something that changed me forever, he said "son, you have to be better than "them" at what they do, no matter what it is...basketball, football, math, reading everything." I practiced hard each and every day to be better than them and I started to gain respect from nonnatives without violence. Now that I'm older, I thought those days were over...NOPE! Even with my education I cannot land a decent pay salary job or hourly rate job to apply my education. New residents who are used to seeing natives on a Reservation or never seeing one at all, call all natives drunks and bums🙄🙄😅😅 Today's society reeks of my childhood fears of mistreatment by white people, or nonnative members of our, once upon a time Yanyeidi Village. Burnt down so the town could have another Boat Harbor. Leaving our native community homeless and begging for help. There has been no apology for that from the Douglas Fire Department or Captain Sullivan who gave the orders to burn it down in 1962..not that long ago right. The Navy and U.S. Army recently held an Apology Ceremony for the Bombing of Angoon, and the terror they brought to Wrangel, Alaska that "our" US soldiers were ordered to do 148 years ago. I know of my Norwegian great grandfather, I lived with my half Tlingit half Norwegian grandfather who spoke his languages fluently. He didn't care to get punished for speaking Tlingit. Nonnatives get mad or very interested when I speak my language even today. It's been bothering me lately to feel the way I did as a child in today's society. It goes to show you, even with a smile on their face, they ridicule our people in private raising their children to feel and treat us the same way. SO! as a proud YanYeidi clan member, I'm going to have to do something about that...education can work wonders if you use it right on time, and for the right reason. Thank you for the video..Gunalcheesh 🙏🙏

I would love to see Oregon join Idaho! That way! Oregon as a State would NO LONGER EXIST. I’ve lived in Oregon ALL MY LIFE & I was thrilled you did not put them on there for places to move because of that! But one State you left out! Is a State I should be living! Colorado! Colorado they say is expensive! But at least they have more of the stuff I come to expect to be a great State than nearly any other State I have been!

I lived in the downtown area and it was really crazy at night with folks acting wild, etc. Anyways, glad you enjoyed the video, and I agree that Colorado is an amazing state!

Michael Brown was a thug and thief who had just robbed a convenience store. He reached inside a police car and tried to get the officer's gun. IF he had his hands up and yelled "Don't shoot" it was after he bloodied a police officer and was running away. So, keep your racist remarks to yourself. I taught HS in Ferguson and all I saw was black on black violence.
