Debating between these and Yokohama geolander g91. My 2017 Rav4 came with the Yokohamas, and I've had no problem out of them at all. I've heard a lot of good for these Michelins though.

I got my launch edition, also. They are awesome! I have the legend EVO and the Vantage. The Triton, in my opinion, is better than these 2 iems.

I actually think these have not very much bass. It has a incredibly perfect mid bass (explosions sound excellent) and crispy clear vocal and you can actually hear cymbals on drums. These headphones sound like magic to me! Edit: didn't even mention how amazing the electric guitar sounds in metal music. Every genre sounds perfect to me with these.

I'm not sure are those worth the money if I upgrade from UM Mest to those. What will improve i think is the bass and that's it

When the final versions are released, i would suggest comparing with v1s if you have them. Also, using the same IEM with different cables is more interesting for comparison purposes, imho. Glad you get to try these nice cables.

I do have a question. If I am 100% honest, I can't find any difference between the monarch mk3 paired to questyle m15 vs wa7 3rd gen. Maybe maybe if I am super trying on a very busy song I can but generally they have the same effect on that IEM. Now for the question, if what I said above is my case, can I be confident / is it possible that "just a cable" would "take them to another level"? Would really love to get your opinion as well if I can get a technical explanation for my own knowledge as I truly am curious. P.s, trying arya organic on m15 vs wa7 also isnt night and day difference, the wa7 is a bit cleaner and can drive them louder without distortion, but overall, same story as the mmk3. I have had great luck with the Cross Climate 2 on my Volvo XC60. I also had these on my prior vehicle. I won't buy any other tire. Especially with living in Colorado with our tri-polar weather!

Should have gotten those instead of the Hype 4. The Noir version is tempting after seeing the fr graph looks like it has warmer tonality

I had the mest mk2 a few years back but lost it. Now I've bought a unique Japanese unique melody mest mk1 the one with dual vents and was surprised by the treble extension much better than my mest mk2 no piercing treble at all compared to mk2 and got it only for 735

I thought the Hype 4 were that resolving until I listened to my older $735 Japanese um mest mk1 😂 wasted money I should have stuck with the old IEM. Well if anyone wants my Hype 4 I'm selling it for $280 on ebay

Great tyres. Not the best in extreme wet weather (they do aquaplane more than some) but I cannot fault grip in the dry or when you do encounter snow. Superb.

Can you a hype 4 / Dusk comparison?

I have a pair for 3 years now and they have been abused. By that I mean I'm very clumsy and I've dropped players yanking the headphones right out of the jack, and also where the wires split in to a "Y" they sometimes get caught on the little drawer knob of my desktop, yanking the cables hard. They've been dropped many times too and rolled over on them in my sleep. So they've take a lot of punishment. With in ear buds I was getting between 6-months to a year before I killed them. These are still going! I have a much more expensive of headphones for serious music listening (that get treat more delicately) but these are my "goto" for general use on the computer (wearing them right now), they're light and comfy and sound isn't audiophile but its far from bad. I actually prefer the sound to expensive Beats which are uncomfortable and have silly bass. I found some expensive Beats Studio Pro someone had dropped in the street recently (not sure how, maybe fell from their backpack?), hated them and gave them away to a family member.

hello again ☺️ nice review, I'm very pleased to hear that they have adjusted especially the highs to make everything more fluid, I know it's a bit of a "wrong" comparison for the price, but looking at the graph they seem very similar.... how do you compare them to the mest mk2?i saw the video "are mest mk2 relevant in 2024?" I now own the MEST MK2 but sometimes with some genres/singers the sibilants, s or t, can be tiring and I would be happy to hear an opinion from those who have tried both😊😊

Would you say the 109 Pro sounds a bit like a Grado if you've ever heard one? Like the SR80X? I've heard 109 Pro compared to "older grados" and I like older Grado sound so wondering if these would be worth it for me. But I also hear they're V signature so I really still don't know what they sound like

Great review. Mine are supposed to arrive tomorrow. I got the Final Version in the Launch Edition. It was the only version in stock. I've never listened to an IEM priced over 1,600. I hope I'm in for a treat. I just wish they came with microfiber pouches.
