shadow systems is dope, but so is the p365 AXG Legion might be something to review in the future… also i switched the striker spring to a +20 from sig guys website & a +10 trigger return spring and that handled the fluffy terrible p365 trigger pull… i ordered just to try heavier springs and it gives it a more crisp deliberate break … worked for me maybe and idea to try & review…

@C4Armory29 күн бұрын
I think so personally. There’s cheaper options like the SMS laser for $250 but I haven’t had a chance to review it yet. Keep in mind these are Chinese full power options. If you buy American civilian power options they are all the same price or more expensive and less powerful.

Just finishing up break in. First 5-6 rounds stovepiped. Finished running those 2 magazines with no problems. My wife had some issues. My son, none at all. Next time out I shot one-handed, both sides. Had one malfunction on first shot. Each time out added a little lube to the rails. I like the shootability
@generoshon926125 күн бұрын
Videos I’ve watched where people were having trouble, no one mentioned anything about lube on the slide and rails. Went to local gun store/range. No one was on the range at that time. We stepped out the back door and was able to get 4-5 hits out of the 15 on steel at 100 yards. I like the way it runs.

Nah I’ll just stick to the Glock because theres no break in bull crap and stove pipesand . They also run everything right out the out the box. They should at least give you 300 round with the purchase or just break it in at the factory. Won’t even run Blazer 124 grain geeez. Slap some anti seize on the rails like Glock does. Good Luck and thanks for sharing.

I just bought this gun a few weeks ago as a potential Hellcat Pro replacement (my current EDC), but so far I'm not very impressed. It does feel good to shoot, but my biggest issue is the slide bite I get from it; I can't train weekly with this gun because the gash it made on my knuckle reopens upon firing it. Also, the mags don't seem to drop very easily, I have to really mash the release button and put in some work to get them out. For a pistol that cost me $1k, I was expecting to love it, but honestly, all it did was make me appreciate my Hellcat Pro even more. Got my holster for it and everything, but I'm not sure I'll even end up carrying it.

I had a cr920x. I was so excited when I first heard about the gun and went and ordered one the next day. One trip to the range and I hated it. I got the slide bite also. They need to make the Beavertail more like the Glock or PSA. We had nothing but troubles with premature lockback. Sent it to shadow systems three different times before they got it fixed. It seemed to be running OK but I couldn’t trust it so I sold it. I’ve seen guys with the CR 920 XP have an all kinds of feeding problems even after the break-in. As I’m watching this video based on his experiences, I don’t understand how he can recommend this gun. As I hear him saying it would be a good option. I’m listening in disbelief.
@C4ArmoryАй бұрын
I never had slide bite from this or any other gun. I have a medium size hand so that’s probably a large factor. Probably something I should’ve mentioned in the video. I’ve had it out numerous times since that video and it’s now functioning flawlessly with everything except the PMC 124. I have not cleaned it yet either. Prob about 500-600 rounds on it now. I wouldn’t expect that this gun is for everyone agreeing with what you said, many people get slide by, that just hasn’t been my experience though.

PMC is no good for comp or ported barrel and slide. Also, SS recommends 200 break in.
@Razgris06Ай бұрын
I think it’s hit or miss with the break-in period. I ran 200+ Blazer Brass 124g with zero malfunctions and without adding lube when I first shot my CR920XP. Only thing I had done was rack the slide maybe, 50+ times, as I did read where it could help with the break-in.
@C4ArmoryАй бұрын
I had the same thought. I only have a sample size of 1 so i'm sure many others in the wild do not have the same experience. I racked the slide a few hundred times before i made it to the range because the spring is so heavy. It seems to run all other ammo pretty well. After I made the video, I continued testing. I tried 124gn S&B which ran with no issues. Then i tried PMC 115gn, and that ran with no issues. Now i'm thinking it might be an issue with my lot of PMC 124gn. and not the gun at at all, at this point.

Great advice, I actually took the fact that I live in a duty to retreat state into consideration when I opted for hammer fire over striker fire (controversial opinion I know). My rationale was definitely me overthinking this stuff, but I still took it into consideration. And omg safety! I see so many irresponsible gun owners out there! I genuinely feel like before a person buys a gun the dealer should have to sit down with them and have a safety talk first, and if that person comes back into the gun shop and does something unsafe with their gun, like pulled out and drop the mag but forget to check the chamber, the gun owner should have the right to confiscate that gun then in there and resell it, no refunds.

Awesome demo man, this is what was lacking from the initial marketing. People trash on this thing for not performing like their $3000 counterparts, but man for casual use, a functional LAM out to a few hundred yards that runs you under $500? These things are only going to get better in the coming years. Very exciting stuff. Great video man, thank you for helping to inform buyers better than VWS did
@C4ArmoryАй бұрын
Appreciate it man. I agree with you totally. This is an untapped market, to my knowledge. I don't know of anyone else doing R&D to enhance distance illumination functionality on budget laser options for people who want to get into night vision without breaking the bank.
@svenskaskene199Ай бұрын
Have the same set up, the focusing cap produces an off center sloppy image and it’s not worth the ridiculous price. Skip the focusing cap and just accept the device for what it is, a 75 meter wide angle Illuminator for a reasonable price.
@C4ArmoryАй бұрын
You might have the cap installed off-center. All you need to do is rotate it to get it centered. I can't speak to cost but unfortunately theres R&D costs, manufacturing costs, lens coating costs, etc. I'm sure that has a lot to do with it.
@33sosa85Ай бұрын
Stuff is trash yup. Wouldn't trust my life with this pos period
@C4ArmoryАй бұрын
I don't think this is intended to be a life sustaining tool. It allows new night vision users who want to plink on the range to break into the market at a fraction of the cost of other more expensive units with comparable specs.

3:12 Are you using a standard carbine buffer? 9mm pistol buffers are 5oz or greater and slightly longer in length than carbine buffers.

I am. I just threw it together with parts on-hand from regular ARs. It can stand a heavier buffer. The recoil kinda sucks. But that’s my fault.

Wonder if you’d be able to see the base of the trees with a good IR illuminator pointed at them. Also, you should do a vid on the Night Operators FUSION 3.0. The thermal doesn’t look bad for $450 😆

That IR beam required for digital NV would get people unpluged verse analog in a situation. Like a bright Flashlight saying "here i am"!
@C4Armory2 ай бұрын
Absolutely right. I mentioned it toward the end of the video. Digital NV with an IR illuminator has no tactical application. The unit could be useful for viewing game at a distance and recording or taking video.

Don't waste your money on digital NV (or do, it's your money) Get a good PVS-14 with a 10yr warranty. Steel Industries in Bradenton FL or T.REXArms both have excellent analog units and 10yr warranty. Digital will get you killed if you ever tried using it in a situation.

How do you like the optic riser? Would you recommend even if you don’t run nods?
@C4Armory2 ай бұрын
I like it and would still recommend it just so you don’t have to “turtle head” to get a sight picture. You’ll also have a better heads up view of what’s going on in your peripheral. Depending on how you’re built, you may be able to use a shorter riser like a 1.93” instead of a 2.26. Just remember your zero will change and so will your holdovers.
