Thanks! You get the files; Full C4D scenes with textures, lighting and all + post production After Effects files, but I don't have a screen recording showing the full process of getting there. So just the end result.

very good, I got stuck on the sub surface material and I have no idea what the difference is but if you make a redshift "material" instead of a "standard" material it has a totally different menu and is a sub category under refraction. I was banging my head wondering why I couldn't access the same menu as you.

You have to go into the render settings and change it to red shift, I also had this problem and that solved it!

The grass was a Hair Object, and the flutter came from its Dynamics and a Wind Force with just the right amount of turbulence.

It's the same buttons to press, but the buttons have moved... The biggest difference is probably the fields system replacing falloff.

Follow all the steps right but when I add a subdivision surface nothing changes can u give me any advice I really want to create this and am wondering what is going wrong

This is a long shot, but make sure the Plane is a child of the Subdivision Surface (instead of the other way around). If that's not the thing, try putting the plane in a Connect object, then that Connect object in a Subdivision Surface. Connect objects tend to fix weird things caused by deformers and the likes.

@@DanielDanielsson I am sure that is the problem I was only connecting them via groups by just dragging I’ll go into it and make it a parent that would make sense I ended up caving in n buying the patreon file so I could skip a step if I got stuck but I am still going step by step to get the experience and even have room to go off rails a little. Just started going to school gotta say would have no idea what parenting even was if I had not gone to school it’s a bummer I had to learn it all in Maya but it borderline Carries over just a few minute differences but if u can run Maya u can run c4d & blender

No idea why this popped up in my algo but thank god it did! The different speeds of cameras when using "align to spline" tag was driving me nuts for years but I never came across the MoSpline as a solution for this (and I remember having problems using the "uniform method" - but dunno exactly). I think this teaser points to a new feature on Cinema 4D, and it looks very nice. I also heard that toon shader render outputs will come with redshift, it was one of my favorite features in Arnold. Now I'm using Redshift and I'm looking forward to this feature.
