I was all in... until I saw the video of someone making the legs with POOL NOODLES. Of course, it didn't look as high end as this one, but I may try the cheap dollar store pool noodles hack before I move up to these high end bowls. Thank you for inspiring me.

Thank you for your honest review. I have a trip booked for March to Bali with them and I chose them because there was so much content for Bali online. So far I can agree with some things you experienced. I do not understand or like the website! I wish it was like other travel agencies where the full itinerary is shared upfront. I almost didn’t book because of that but I was able to find so much content that I felt comfortable. You do have multiple zoom meetings. We just recently had our preliminary meeting and that was nice. Our agent is in London and she did mention the basic itinerary which did not sound like the content I’ve seen. I know we have free days but that makes me wonder if everything else is out of our pocket. The portal you mentioned, I don’t know where that is, I really don’t like the website. I think that’s what I dislike so far. I saw that Paris trip price and said oh no lol, I’ll plan that myself lol. I plan on taking my daughter to Paris when she turns 16. I do hope I enjoy the trip because if I do I’ll probably use them every year for my birthday trips. We’ll see

This is very nice. Good Job! A little tip: when you are gluing wood surfaces together that have a sheen to them like the bowls, it's not a bad idea to scuff the surfaces being glued together with sandpaper. It gives some "tooth" to the areas for the glue.

Your assessment is interesting and pretty on point. I have traveled with them twice, and getting ready to go for a third trip. I definitely agree with you on focusing on their "successful" trips. My first trip with them was great. I had no real expectations and I was pleasantly surprised. My second trip was Bali. I think they have 3 different Bali trips, Spring Break, Boujee in Bali and Eat, Pray, Love. On the Eat Pray Love trip, we were shortchanged with at least 2 excursions and there was little to no communication or a suitable replacement. One of the best parts of the trip was an excursion we found out about from others on the trip, because they had done their research beforehand. So it was more like Spring Break or Boujee Bali, but definitely not Eat Pray Love. This wouldn't have been so bad if we didn't pay extra for Eat Pray Love. I believe it's the most expensive Bali option and we did all the same things and stayed in the same villas as the other two options, but for more money. We did speak up, but nothing was done to compensate us (like maybe a discount for a future trip, or something like that). Also some of the ladies on the trip had traveled with Luxe multiple times (at least 5 times), and said that they had noticed a decline in operations and Bali would be their last trip with them. It wasn't a bad trip, but it wasn't what we paid for. I had no real desire to go to Bali before we went, but I would definitely go back. I also tried to book a private trip to Dubai via Luxe and the prices were outrageous for hotels that were barely 4 star. I ended up booking on my own and spent much less than they were charging. I think it's hit or miss with them and sometimes a curated trip is absolutely necessary. I watched Luxe for years before deciding to try them, and I am going on another trip with them next year. We'll see how this one goes...
