This is very nice. Good Job! A little tip: when you are gluing wood surfaces together that have a sheen to them like the bowls, it's not a bad idea to scuff the surfaces being glued together with sandpaper. It gives some "tooth" to the areas for the glue.

Looks really good the only thing is you can see the seam of the two bowls more filler in all the gaps you would've got a seamless finish but all in all, it's your first time doing it well done, no doubt next time you'll make sure to put more filler in the gap.

Not certain it would work for this application, but I’ve used dry wall tape and joint compound, though I think you could get away with only compound. Also wood filler shrinks as it dries, so if you wanted to stick with the wood filler apply multiple coats over a few hours or days. Great to see your finished project.

Another option would have been to drill a hole in the botton of each and put a screw and in place then lightly gluing them so you wouldn't have those glue lines. They definately need a lil more sanding to be smooth but it's a nice look
