I hope whoever does own the property talks to Beyond The Gates. As a former Evermore actor, i'd love to see all my old friends faces in that same old park. Even if it's under a different name.

What I am confused about is wasn't the whole Hatch the Egg event supposed to culminate in a big reveal of what the park was going to actually be used for? As far as I can tell that never happened. To this day have they said ANYTHING about how & what the park is going to be used for? Did I miss something? Each week that goes by sadly I am getting more pessimistic that anything is going to happen with this property.
@BobAtEvermore7 күн бұрын
@@questort they never announced their plans for the property, and at this point they have deleted every video that was filmed on the property from their youtube page, lending more authority to the idea that they have moved on from the property.

Ode to Bob of Evermore Oh, Bob, thy heart in Evermore did dwell, A realm where dreams and medieval wonders swell. Thy soul, enraptured by yon noble ground, Where knights and maidens fair did oft abound. Though Evermore hath faded in the mist, Thy mem’ries sweet as stars doth still persist. A troubadour of joy, thou dost remain, Singing its glories in thy merry refrain. So raise thy voice, dear Bob, and tell thy lore, Of bygone days in thee, sweet Evermore!

Is both sad and concerning that the main pattern of hiring in Evermore it's somehow finding really passionate people, who they afterwards can weaponize their own passions against. Of course you can't blame on the people who are low level employees, had no say to it, and they were depending on their jobs. But if you are middle manager (and from what I can hear this guy sort of was) and you realize the things that are happening around you, how much of that is "ohh, it's okay, I'm just passionate about my job" and how much of that is actually enabling?...Cuz if they get away with so much with their employees, I strongly suspect because a lot of it was enabling.
@BobAtEvermore11 күн бұрын
evermore had no shortage of passionate people that gave their all, yeah. i would define middle management as someone who reports to someone at a director or executive level, and has employees more involved in the day to day work that report to them. connor never managed anybody; he was the one who did the day to day work.

I distinctly remember Connor’s visit in the Thranduil cosplay, because I was talking to an actor when they walked up. The actor, a short king, had to crane his neck up to look at Connor. After Connor walked away, the actor turned to me, bewildered, and said, “I thought that man was on stilts!”

I forgot about the movie filming... I was in the theater watching "Escape from Germany" (a really good movie actually) with my wife and I thought I recognized the tavern and also the top of the main building and I was like "WAIT A MINUTE!??!!?"... I leaned over to my wife and said that I bet those shots were filmed at Evermore... After the movie I looked it up and turns out I was right. It would have been fun to see what other movies would have been filmed at the park if it were still operational.

During The Convergence we learned that with the big barn doors closed and the fireplace in use, the tavern can actually be made very warm and even takes on a beautiful cedar smell. Very good place for the VIPs to hide all night instead of interacting with their paying fans who waited in the cold to see them lol All this evidence definitely suggests they moved on from Evermore 🫤 But who knows, maybe he's out there hustling to get investors

My bet is that "Hatch the Egg" wasn't as much of a resounding success as they'd hoped and as a result they lost interest in the whole project because it wasn't a "winner" anymore.

hey bob great vid as always! suggestion that maybe (?) might help: ask a local realtor to check their MLS on the property. the local MLS within the state is more accurate and up-to-date than public records because it’s specifically for realtors and by realtors, usually with a monthly fee. it give you some more insight into the property situation. hope this helps!

As a former Evermore employee that spent their first winter in the tavern, I can confirm that the temperature in the tavern is miserable in the cold, and you can stick your hand up and feel an entirely different layer of hot air that’s closer to the ceiling. Edit: Us former employees are also keeping tabs on what’s going to happen to the park. We are in contact. We never signed on for the money. We shared in the dream too, and despite the difficulties it was like a second home to a lot of us.

Thanks Bob. It seems like most of "recent" the Realm Town's videos on Instagram have fallen into one of two categories.
