I mean in a game of football, you learn a lot of things in the heat of the match. I play regularly and adapting and using skills that other players have is very common. Meta vision is just game sense. As a play gathers more experience it develops on its own. In fact you are not a good player if you don't have game sense/meta vision. So in the end it's just comes down to who can utilise it better, the same skill everyone has. Power scales in BL is one of the best in my opinion as I see it though my own experiences dealing with players on the field.

Don't know why people are shocked. All those 3 way color spreads of Isagi literally saying "I can counter Kaiser because of his obsession, and Kaiser counters Rin 1v1, but Rin outclasses me 1v1", since the start of the match. Ofc crashing into Kaiser wouldn't work he's not Isagi. Now that he's let go of his obsession with Isagi and they're working together they're basically guaranteed to shut down Rin everytime. It made me laugh when people were saying Rin > Kaiser.

Kaiser was always the center of attention, his lines are well-written and just bad-ass. Isagi talks a lot, while Kaiser does as much and just adds iconic one-liners: Exe-effking-cuted, Ex-effking-cuse me

This is another great example of a genius vs talented learner. Kaiser was taught how to be a dick through examples by his father, Rin was born the way he is. Like there is no good reason for Rin to be this way, we see in flashbacks that Sae did nothing wrong and was actually the only reason Rin never needed therapy as a child. the most problematic thing is that people think metavision and predator's eye are smth unique to have so not everyone can have them, when the case is literally not like that, metavision is a skill which is achieved when you've a high IQ and good analytical skills for reading the field, anyone who has these will have metavision, and the Predator's Eye is a skill that allows characters to focus on the goal and goalkeeper to score goals, it's unlocked when a character's vision narrows to resemble a cat's eye or the eye of a predator, it's not a SUPERPOWER or smth, anyone having the requirements for achieving this skill, will have it, and Rin is a perfect candidate for that, I even believe he had metavision before when he used his puppet and calculative playstyle, it's nothing of a surprise, and if you re read the match it makes sense, it's no plot. If you've read his light novel, you'll already know that he definitely is a talented learner and a genius at the same time, also Rin is still evolving, I don't really think he's meant to be called 'plotoshi rin' when he's just BUILT DIFFERENT
