I always get so sad thinking about the Marauders. They would have done anything to protect each other and at the end of the First Wizarding War, it’s so painful to think about how Remus must have felt knowing that Lily and James were dead and that Harry is orphaned and thinking that Peter was dead and Sirius betrayed them. Those were the people who acted as his family, even learning how to become animagi, so that he wouldn’t be alone. And he did end up alone for a long time.

I’m glad James and Lily suffer least, I really do. They died practically at the beggenig of the war and saw the least horrible things and didn’t miss anything or cry all nights long as the rest did.

Yeah I agree. At least they didn't have to watch their son nearly die 10 times, cry over losses and then actually die, even though he came back to life. And they didn't have to watch their friends die either. Your comment is so true.

In the scene with Sirius and Harry fighting off Death Eaters, Sirius said “ Nice one, James.” He said James, not Harry. That just shows how much he misses his old best friend.
