Dads are awesome! I too have been blessed with an amazing dad who just so happened to be a carpenter as well. He has poured a lot of hours into my home. I hope I get to do the same for my kids one day. Awesome video!

Thank you! I currently use an M1 Macbook Pro laptop for content creation and a PC laptop for work. My desktop is quite old, so in the process of saving up for a new gaming pc. Especially now that the new cards are out.

Personally I would have stained the wood desk a smoke stain color but the final set up came out good. Great job!

decided to keep my regular PS5, but maybe later I have reason to upgrade, since Ps is starting to show up on PC it’s so hard to upgrade the console unless it’s a whole new device 😂

If I ever decide to remove it. And even then, at that point I would remove the would paneling under it as well, so not much of an issue :)

just so you know youd been better off to rip the old wood paneling off back when the home was built the never insulated much at all and cut corners alot.

The insulation is actually fine down here, so not having issues with that. If I ever redo the space in the future I will do it though. Probably put in an egress window as well for extra home value.

Thanks, but the wrap was a safe experiment that still protects the wood. That I can expose later if I change my mind. I just didn't want to stain it black because I wasn't sure if I'd like it.

Hey amazing setup!! Idk if u realised tho the curved monitor attachment for your lightbar is upside down. If u flip it, it clicks into place with the magnet so you don't have to hold it when placing it on the monitor. Unless it was intentional then my mistake!

What was behind the wood paneling that made you guys keep that up? Was it just to save some time? Looks nice! The desk wrap is sick. I'm gonna build a desk shelf and wrapping it could have been a cool idea, but I'm going to stain it with a dark stain.

It was just exterior walls, so it would have been a mess and taken longer. So yeah, to save time. Thanks! The wrap was a good solution for me as I didn't want the dark ebony wood stain. This way I have the option to do that in the future or change it back to a light wood. Plus, I was just curious if it would work, lol.

Had a PC but it was too old. So saving up for a new one. I switched to mac after my last pc crapped out on me. But I have a gaming laptop I use for gaming in the meantime.
