As an epic games freebie generation victim (of the super sweaty tryhards that make up 95% of the game) I spent my first 100 hours only being a bard. Here lately I've tried fighting more but obv getting better is slow against dudes with 2-10k hours so I have instead switched to the throwing shields build because smacking people with targes is fun.

Unfortunately I completely agree. If you were happy with being pummelled constantly for weeks before you started to learn then you could get into it, but no new players will stick it out that long :(

I think mord gameplay is better and the customization, but its not fun at all as a new player. Zero team balancing or fair matchmaking.

@@WhySoTilted Oh I see, that's bad. In chiv we see few VERY good players, and a lot of average players. Iam playing about a month, and being honest, in 1v1 it's hard to find someone worthy a duel

One thing I miss about Mordhau is character customization. Chivalry 2 is greatly lacking in that regard.

I’ve tried to get into chivalry 2 quite a few times but it really just doesn’t hit the same as Mordhau. They tick too many boxes for me to look elsewhere for a game like this

Chivalry never has had good customization options. I felt great about when I bought a skin for my Knight back in the day, at least that way I stood out somewhat on the battlefield. In the days of Chiv 1, after AoC, and before Mordhau, people like myself were forced to get good at the game among all the veterans- the thing about it though was that I always had fun. The emotes and voicelines were always a huge part of the game for me. I laugh every time I play Mordhau now, because it is genuinely hilarious at some moments.

@@G00N3YC4NG Yes I feel the same, I downloaded Mordhau once again after 2 years. It is really fun playing it again. Especially because Chivalry 2 servers are absolutely on fire atm so that's what drove me to give it a try again.

It’s a shame Mordhau doesn’t have a stronger player base. Its gameplay is very fun but the learning curve is definitely not

The stat that lets you lower the ammount of rads you get is radiation resistance, some armors have modifications to make them more radiation resistant, there are also perks that you can use (tho i dont reccomend using it in your loadout, aswell as power armor and hazmat suits have very big rad resistance. Also dont forget to use a Rad-X when going into a highly radiated area!

To unlock fps you can edit the Prefs.ini and change iPresentInterval from 1, to 0. Same can be done on FO4. On my 7700x 7900xt system i was only getting 45 fps before changing that file on both games. To cap FPS (because bethesda cant code) on AMD systems open adrenaline and go to Gaming. Click FO76, scroll down till you see Radeon Chill. Set max fps to 120 (or whatever you prefer, 120 seems to work great for me and both 76 and 4) I tried 76 but the building UI was horrible..and because its online only you cant mod it. Fo4 building imo is far better and easier to get the hang of. Snapping can be an issue though. Mods like Sim Settlements make building a community a breeze though and highly recommend it.
