Ty for the tips. ☺️ I sometimes color in circles. I used to color up and down. Always looked like lines. I have improved a lot. 🙂

Don't skip the lines. If you only do circles your tooth wears down quickly. Do a few layers using the lines and then blend with the circles. You may be surprised how smooth your picture gets. Light lines.

One thing I don't like, the pencils are in a tin rather then a zippered case. I have difficulty sitting in a regular chair so I sit in my recliner. If you change your packaging, I would pay $20 more.

It's a good quality acrylic paint pen. It would never be used in a professional colored picture that you would sell. It's a fun thing to use in coloring books and things that you are just doing for yourself.

Oh my and darn. This video was made 4 years ago. Was the set with no branding on the pencil from Sanford? I have a set of 120 prisma color pencils with no brand name on the pencils. If you search hard enough on th back of the tin it says Sanford. I know its too late to win a vintage copper but that's ok. I already have one. I'm glad I misplaced it, and the other metallics until recently because they are still almost like brand new. I believe I bought them in the mid or late 90's.They have been used very sparingly since I found them. Particularly the copper. Unfortunately some of them I never found again. It was I think s set of 12 but now only copper, silver, gold, purple, blue and green. Alas. Maybe they will turn up, or I'll come upon some wherever vintage pencils are found. I enjoy your videos!

I am sorry for your husband's illness. My husband always had a low potassium. He has been put in the hospital for low potassium before and there was never a time they tested him and he didn't have a low level. The fact he died from an overdose of it is shocking. If we only saw the mistake on the paperwork.

@@ColorMyWorld my mother in law died by a mistake at a hospital. She been sick with the flu real bad and was ordered for a shot to be given her ( this was in the 90's) I don't remember what the shot was but evidently the shot wasn't recorded and the next nurse that came in gave her the same shot and it completely dehydrated her and killed her. These things shouldn't be. So sad.

@ColorMyWorld
@ColorMyWorld 26 күн бұрын
@@katiebbyxox Are you new to coloring? If you are just learning a coloralong is no good for you. First there is hours that goes into the picture and only 15 to 20 minutes of video. That's a lot of missing pieces. Second you should be experimenting with the color blending. Yes, I can pick colors and other KZbin artists do it too easily, but we all have years of experience behind us. If you don't want to practice using this book then make copies that you can practice shading different ways. Your concern now should be if your shadowing is correct and going in the same direction.
@katiebbyxox

@ColorMyWorld I wouldn't consider myself advanced but I've been coloring about a year and have completed many coloralongs, this is just a newer book to me. Thankyou for the advice though I just thought your page was nice. I have a hard time sticking to color pallets so I prefer coloralongs they're just more coherently/nicely put together!

The problem with the prices for Holbein pencils outside of Japan is the same problem, pretty much every Japanese export has. Compared to the prices in the US (or Europe where I am) They are "dirt cheap" in their country of origin. You can get the whole 150 set for roughly $150-$160 in Japan, they get so damn expensive once they leave the country. In Germany, I'd pay about 300€ for the whole set which is just ridiculous when I can have the whole set of Polychromos for about 150€ here.. But the Problem is not only with Holbein, Prismas are damn near unaffordable here as well (as long as you do not purchase through Aliexpress or pay a ton of shipping and customs when you order from the US.) So I think the export itself is , what makes the pencils so damn expensive, sadly..

Thank you so much for making this video. As a beginner, I’ve been ripped off - fake Prismacolor 72 on Temu still over £60 GBP. Right now, in the UK, Prismas are £200 for a full set. I also got scammed by a ‘Faber Castel sale’ for £70. I was going to stop art as a hobby as I don’t want to be such an easy target ❤
