When my Dad passed away 10 years ago a few weeks before my 26th birthday, it was hard to celebrate Holidays knowing he wasn't around anymore. 💔 Having small children and a husband I HAD to keep going and couldn't just give up on Holidays because I was grieving. So when you said you're going to do them bigger than before, that resonated with me. I remember getting to a place where I thought ya know Dad loved the Holidays and would want me to live life to the fullest in his memory and honor and give my family the best that I can...I should make him proud instead of being down. My Dad wouldn't have wanted me to be sad but rather to go at life with gusto because that's how he was. He engrained in me to enjoy life especially family time which of course included the special days and celebrations. He loved family get togethers and laughing. I do special things for my family in honor of him. Things he liked to give I give to our children, his favorite cake I have on his bday things like that. Now I'm crying lol but thank you Lori for sharing your family's lives and journey through this with us, it helps so much more than you know. You're putting good out into the world. God Bless you!

Yes they are great. I have one in my room and one in the garden. I switch them out every once in a while so they get even wear on the battery. They don't charge in the house, but they do every night out in the garden. I love them. I am setting up for Chanukah tonight so I'll have them in my dining room next :)
