I’m glad things are staring to look better for you. I really appreciate what you do, your content has been great for me and got me interested in self hosting. I needed to exercise my brain as I was starting to have mental health problems after early retirement. Your channel has been so helpful in helping me to be in a much better place. Please keep up the great work, and don’t let the negative idiots get you down. For every one of them there’s hundreds of us who like and appreciate you and what you do!!❤

As a struggling KZbinr who has recently gone through some pretty significant family and life struggles I feel this in my soul. I also sometimes record and post stuff weeks or even a month in advance just in case I'm not in a spot where I feel like messing with it. Which is often. I'm just thankful that you're still keeping on keeping on. Life may suck sometimes but the alternative is unacceptable. Just don't be too scared, or jaded, to ask for help.

You're doing the best you can and, at least from this perspective, doing really good. Don't be rough on yourself and keep being you!

There is a need for people that say their own opinion. I was also like that as a kid. But today I have a normal life with my own apartment and all that kind of stuff. So that is light at the end of the tunnel. Keep up the great work.

I know exactly how you feel, because since covid, i am not able to focus myself like i did before. It takes time, I am better now, but its a long, long way to go. I know you don't want to hear that. But give yourself - your body and mind - time to heal.

Have you seen a neurologist for autonomic testing? I’ve been living with Dysautonomia (Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome) for two decades and those are most of the symptoms I have to manage on a daily basis.

In July 2022, Dianna Cowern, "Physics Girl" on KZbin, reported that she had developed long COVID. She was hospitalized in March 2023, as her symptoms similar to chronic fatigue syndrome continued to worsen. Her health has not recovered as of February 2024. Tests suggest some of her brain cells may have fussed together. Making it difficult and exhausting for her to think, talk, and move. More research is being done on the long-term effects on how COVID affects the brain. David, your brain might have a similar issue which is why it's impossible for you to learn anything new.

Good to see that you can breathe and talk without your apparatus. It's okay and not distressing or distracting to me if you have to use it during your presentations, though. You look and sound cheerful. I know what's like to lose interest in all one's hobbies and distractions. Be patient...give it time. Just let dear, old Cloud heal you. Animals are so great at just...living. We can learn much from them about acceptance and living. Aloha...and take the best of care.
