Where is this trail located at ??
@inmytravels

This is a loop around Brady’s Lake in the Pa poconos; it’s not a complete loop, it’s a state game lands trail, with some minor trails along Brady’s lake… looooong ride though, I think 28 miles or so. You ride on the SGL trail until it ends at the upper Lehigh River, then you ride the road along the river until you can get back next to Brady’s lake, but then you have to bushwhack to get back onto an alongside lake trail to get back to the beginning… good luck if you try it!

As a kid I grew up in Hartly Delaware, we were from southern Il so durning the 60's every year we returned to lL. Love going thru the tunnels. I wish I could explore it now, can't my health is poor and my husband is not a explorer but I sure did enjoy watching you! Take us on more outdoor adventurers please.

@@inmytravels thanks much. I just bought there. Urus. I’m afraid the tires will be changed pretty quickly on it as well. Lol thanks so much for the info. Makes me feel a little bit better about my purchase. I was familiar with the M 600 motor but not so much the suspension component.

@@southernebikingthe suspension on the Fat HS gets a lot of hate, it they’ve been ok for me… I did replace the front forks, but because I hadn’t set them properly and I blasted them out… the center suspension has leaked too, but here again it’s because I hadn’t set the sag properly. Overall, it’s been such a fun purchase… it’s truly brought moments of joy to my experience. Have fun!

I bought a used HS HD and have a external 48v from previous, but I cannot find this connector to the frame. Any suggestions and great video! Wish it had 100-120mm fork and I think 52v may be a future option hopefully. 👍
@inmytravels
@inmytravels 8 ай бұрын
What do you mean by “connector to the frame”? The rack that the secondary battery sits on, or the input for the battery to connect to? The rack was secondary to the frame and I ordered it from the Eunorau website (I think it was an option to include with the secondary battery). I hear you on the fork; I went through trouble trying to switch to a different fork, but ended up just getting another RST fork to replace the original.

Yes, the public is allowed to walk up to and explore the ruins… And I believe there’s a fire tower not far beyond. You walk up a dirt road to get there, but the parking lot isn’t very large, and I had trouble finding parking when I was there… definitely worth a little day trip, and then stopping at Woodstock is nice as well

I hiked my scout troop to the tunnel and the kids thought it was cool to sleep on the road. Imagine the suprise when a Pa state trooper came blasting outa the tunnel to find 20 kids sleeping in the road. He locked em up missed the scouts and sped away. Bet he pooped his pants

That’s nuts! Glad nobody was hurt… actually, I learned about this place from a group of scouts; they didn’t mention an instance like that, it they mentioned they either did or tried to walk the tunnel up in the vent in the ceiling but it got really narrow

These roads are made from cement if you look closely you'll notice they cut lines in them to help them from cracking, each section can move a little bit to avoid major cracking!

The area above the tunnels are vent shafts where fresh air was pumped through to help flush out the exhaust from the vehicles passing through. From what I've been told, while you can go through the tunnels themselves the upper areas are off limits. The area is patrolled by the PA Department of Natural Resources Police and I understand you will get in trouble if caught in there.
