Island Park Kayaking - Lehigh River

Just paddlin' around the area where Island Park was located, just above Easton, on the Lehigh River. Nice day, no speedboats.
There used to be an amusement park located on the island I stop at, however that was well over a hundred years ago... All that's left is the base of the bridge that connected the island to the land proper.
You can kayak into the inlet of the island, but it's quite murky and kind of gross.
