well...that wasn't climactic or surprising in the slightest, exactly as i expected. i had a female friend who was a few inches taller than me,solid build too,nowhere close to fat,but definitely no string bean,at least a few dozen pounds heavier than me, the few times we kinda rough housed a bit i always won..and I'd never worked out or been particularly active at that point in life.

That was a nice close match -- do you know the age or where each wrestler was in their scholastic careers when the first and second matches occurred? That would be fun to know. Between the two matches the boy had obviously improved a lot. My feeling is that the boy is a couple of years younger but that is just my impression. I feel that the boy needs to show more aggression and that he was essentially neutralized by letting his leg be tied up too much of the time that they were on the mat! 🙂 I feel that he could have used the power of his legs to break free more effectively? Accordingly notice in the final seconds it was actually the girl who took the initiative and tried to shoot the take down but the boy managed productively counter it and get the win! BTW it should be noted that with this win the boy beat on of the best girl wrestler in the country at that weight! 🤣

I can't imagine being a high school wrestler having to go against a girl like that. Not only does is it potentially dangerous for the girl but what if the boy gets turned on? I'm just being real.
