Julianna Hernandez is a very well trained and experienced wrestler and she is very good at wrestling that she is now competing in professional women’s wrestling leagues but those boys including this one in the video are beginners with no experience. I am not sure if he is a high school wrestler but if she wrestles with high school boys who are more than 140 pounds and are beginners, then they might lose against her because she is a very well experienced wrestler but they will give her a tough match. I have seen boys she wrestles with in google and those boys are very skinny and weak and they are also beginners with no experience in wrestling

What nobody mentions is what is a girl junior high club wrestler doing wrestling a high school varsity wrestler . HOW IS THIS ALLOWED UNLESS IT WAS A SETUP OR YOUR AGES ARE WRONG

Im addition to being very skillled, I bet this girl has worked hard at chin ups. She may well be stronger than a lot of senior girls. And a lot of the guys probably only train chins with bodyweight. They might still be stronger (or not), but not by much. If a male at this weight wants to have a male advantage, he is going to have to do weighted chin ups and dumbbell rows and do exercises to break through bench press plateaus. A 12 year old girl hasnt had the time to do these things. A 16 or 17 year old guy has had the time.

I think I have seen that match before or at least I read about it some place? It was in New England right? To watch it play out was kind of hilarious or maybe incredulous actually! HOW, just how can a wrestler be a junior in high school and look like that on the mat? Dare we even speculate on what his career record looked like? I guess he was repeatedly trying to do a gramby roll when he was on the bottom? Whatever it was he was doing it seemed it was like the only thing he knew. It was a very effective move for putting himself on his back to get pinned! LOL Then how on earth did he lose the pin opportunity he had in the second period? Did anyone else think that boy look to be in poor physical conditioning?

the guy actually ended the year with a good win/loss rating. He was not as bad a wrestler as he appears in this match, but average. The girl, despite being a 7th grader girl wrestler, wrestled in the boys division last year, winning most of the matches and also winning several tournaments and the county championship. The guys she beat were all high school guys. Many of these junior (17 year olds) senior (18 year olds). At 18 you don't expect to be beaten by a 12 year old girl... but instead...

@phestlok264 Interesting comments. One thing to note about all this is that these matches are occurring at the "magical" 106 lbs weight class. Many biological and physiological factors come into play that frequently can favor the girl at this weight. In this case the girl is much younger than the boy -- but in most inter-gender matches at 106 the girl will be (on average) older and more experienced simply because the percentage of boys who can make that weight as a junior or senior will be much smaller than for girls simply because boys are larger and when boys get into puberty many will grow out of the weight class to 113 and beyond. This is not true for girls because most girls are well through puberty at 14 and are already close to “adult” size and weight as freshman. In this case, you have another interesting factor -- this girl is obviously Hispanic - and it is a fact that girls of Hispanic ethnicity enter puberty earlier than girls of European ethnicity so is quite possible that at 12 she might be as far along or farther in her physiological development than a boy 14 - 16. Another factor often overlooked about the 106 lbs weight class is that since girls tend to be shorter and have lighter skeletons (because of slimmer, more delicate bones) so it is possible that some girls could carry more muscle mass than boys - especially tall boys -- and still make 106 lbs. So, for girls wrestling at 106 lbs gives them their best shot at beating boys. But even at that weight class only a few girls end up being super competitive with boys and NO GIRL- no matter how good she is - will be able to beat the best boys even at 106! 😂 Your thoughts?

@@Mandolin1944 From what I've seen it's usually junior and senior girls @ 106 beating younger boys who have not fully grown yet. The fact is here that is reversed, and the girl is, especially for that age, significantly younger. Really, no excuse here for a "boy" who is very close to being a man, to lose to a girl, puberty or not, "magical" weight class or not.

Since it is reflecting the reality the title can not be accused for being clickbait but it is not very appropriate as it aggravate the inevitably embarassing situation for the boy. It expose and exhibit a young man as weak as to be dominated by a female child... it may be reality but your title did not have to underline it... You forgot to write that the girl was a 7th grader of middle school, while the guy was a junior in high school (11th grade)! Basically a 12 year old girl used a 17 year old high school boy as a rag to clean the wrestling mat! LOL! really impressive how a junior male wrestler is completely at the mercy of the little girl in the last minutes of the match!

@@Mandolin1944 I see, sir. I edited it because I had indeed forgotten to mention the girl's age stage. Juliana Hernandez was in the 7th grade a year ago. I just wasn't sure if the boy was a sophomore or a junior... but I'll continue checking for accuracy regarding the boys stage.
