what's the purpose of pause buffering at 1:37:00?

spinner stunning - every 3 frames the game loads spinners/lasers, but you can avoid this by pausing every 3rd frame (since for some reason this internal counter that checks the spinners every 3 frames does not stop even if the game is paused), making them never load in, allowing you to go right through (notice how some of the lasers are invisible when you watch the clip when they are pause buffering but they return when it finishes), kinda bad explanation but hope that helps
