I think if you're a good fisherman or woman and have local knowledge your going to catch something no matter what lure your using. But for someone like myself I need all the help I can get from the more expensive lures 😁 Loved the video as per usual and Thank you
@larryoutdoors4 сағат бұрын
You are right , someone new to lure fishing, would try to use some expensive lures , they could blame themselves if could catch a fish, otherwise , they would blame the cheater lures if no fish bite . Expensive lure makes we confident at least.👍👍👍👍👍😅😅😅😅

Another good tip is when you put your lures back in your tackle box is to wash them when you get home. I always wash my reel and rod but it's always good to use warm water when you're home, wash your tackle box and leave it open to dry. I don't get any rusty tackle doing this and ensures my terminal tackle stays in optimum condition.

Well done Larry. Typical fish. But hey, cheap lures do the task. As for flick rods gear, I admit, I'm cheap bit what I have does the task..as you know. I mostly bait fish with lures tossed about to keep my busy... Edit, yes , moorings, I've lost a few around moorings....but fish are smart... Double edit, maybe take a heavy set up next time, toosone of those yakkas out as live bait 😊 Triple edit, lol. I've had sting rays do that, take off like a shower of....and flipping hard to stop
@larryoutdoors4 күн бұрын
Thanks Daves! yes, all the fishing gears work, cheaper or expensive , fish never mind. fish ashore inside of harbour , many boats around , so I lost plenty big fish before of moorings, anyway, maybe fish would stay with moorings , so it 's a challenging , you win , or fish win. maybe should upgrade the fishing gear, use heavier one, as you said. Good Luck ! 👍👍👍👍👍👍💪💪💪💪

Hello Larry, I have been using jigs like this and I seem to get many snags. How do you avoid this? Thank you great videos
@larryoutdoors10 күн бұрын
my experiences is counting the number after casting, for example , if the lure sinking to the bottom need 20 secs, then, very time counting the number , less number if more close to the bank, for example , 50m, counting 15 secs, 30m, counting 10 secs, not need to sink to the bottom every time, especially , near the bank, all snags, far away from the bottom.
