Hey Larry this is where I always go at this exact point you are! Not much luck mainly use bait and only catch little snapper bream and the occasional flathead definitely going to try using one of those lures here

@@larryoutdoors Everything is too expensive these days, years ago when I first started lure fishing for bream you could get a decent lure for $8 these days it's $20-$30 even $40 for a single lure which is crazy. To keep my costs down I buy a lot of lures from Temu these days and they do the job. Keep the videos coming Larry I really enjoy them... Good luck.

It's funny Larry I bought a bunch of similar lures off Temu and in the last 2 sessions I've caught around 20+ tailor, 4 salmon, 2 jews a flounder a snapper and a squid. Still using the original lure too!

Congratulations mate! you are professional fishing man 👍👍👍👍👍I thought, maybe I am not good at this rod, need more practices, cause the rings win the rod, are very small, Line always cling on the rings, and more scratch , so the line become weak. Thanks mate! nowadays, I am checking some shore jigging rod for myself. as you know , almost of my fishing stuff are from Daiwa, so I bought a Daiwa shore jigging overthere Ex 109ML/M for outside surf or rock fishing, I would test next time and let you know . also they have 1010M/MH series . you could have a look. I bought a lot of Temu gear and actually have not had a chance to use it, a lot of it looks pretty good, just get the lure size right, some of the ones they sell are smaller than the pic suggests, but I have been looking at the gear I bought and like the designs and colors they sell.

You are right mate, sometimes would have the difference between pictures and real goods, so most time, at the first times , I would buy 2 or 3 have a try, if good , would buy more.

my experiences is counting the number after casting, for example , if the lure sinking to the bottom need 20 secs, then, very time counting the number , less number if more close to the bank, for example , 50m, counting 15 secs, 30m, counting 10 secs, not need to sink to the bottom every time, especially , near the bank, all snags, far away from the bottom.

Yes, 15g lures are fine, and use some floating minnow or sugar pan would be better for someone new to lure fishing, there are very easy snagged at bottom if use metal. Good Luck Mate! 🙏🙏🙏💪

Demanding on where you use it mostly? longer would cast further , but some small rock spots would be a trouble to carry and cast inside of harbour , shorter would be easy to carry and operate, maybe 7 would be a balance .
