I haven't heard the term "webbing" before. What is that? OH! I see! This keeps your blocks in order. How clever!!!

After I cut the number of repeats I need, I cut them all along the fold, then I separate the two different halves of the fabric before I start lining up the layers with the pin. Yes, I have two piles of fabrics to line up but it is so much easier than trying to lineup both the top side and bottom side at the same time. Or I suppose you can unfold all 4 pieces the full WOF then pin to line up.

I made one of these. I really didn't like all of the blocks, though some were WOWs! BUT, when it was put together, I fell in love with it!

The great thing about quilting is that all it takes is one person to make 1 little change to the same pattern quilt and it looks totally different! This quilt is amazing!

I must tell anyone who buys fabric from Temu use this method. I only buy the fabric pieces that are 19.69 x 19.69 inches. I only buy the 100 percent cotton. I get the 8 pieces or 7,piece packages. And its very soft and beautiful. The prices are from 10 to 12 dollars for one of those 7 or 8 piece fat quarter packages. I use them in many quilted items.. very good quality

Thank you for introducing me to Kawandi! Wow! What a great way to make things meditatively! A fabulous way to make a background for embroidery or just a simple unadorned piece. I love the improvisational method and working with what you have. You have my creative juices flowing. So many opportunities for this way of quilting. Thank you for the blessings that you send, I am not a Christian, but I am sending my good energy to you as well. Peace and thank you again.

I just LOVE quilters who admit to making the same mistakes the rest of us do and can find humor along the way. If we can't laugh at ourselves now and then......... Thanks for this really good video. Sewing the strips AND matching the sewing lines without doing it frantically or as though you have OCD was SO refreshing! Perfection is overrated; to err is human. From one imperfect human to another - I frequently crack myself up! The colors in that jelly roll are gorgeous! I think I must have watched hundreds of quilting videos, but you can ALWAYS learn something new along the way. Quilting provides calm and keeps me sane. Well,.......IMHO, anyway. Linda

What a great concept! I’ve never seen this before and you explained the process so clearly! I’m curious to know more about the little birdies on the left if your design wall. Do you have videos on how you made them?

I really would not get involved with Temu, they have ulterior motives as indeed Tik Tok does. They want to get your details so that they can get into them for ulterior motives. Most of their accessories are also crap.
@marlenejones626614 күн бұрын
@wendyrowland7787 I buy from Temu every month. I have loved every item I have bought. Nothing is crap. And nothing has happened to me or my account. I don't believe all the malarkey that's on the internet. THATS what's crap

It amazes me how these potato chip blocks can all look so different. They all are made with the same sizes the same pattern and yet they all look different. I love this. Brenda really came up with something sending you love hugs and prayers and hoping that your appointment went well, I realize it was a year ago, but still, we don’t always heal overnight, OK catch you next time ❤️🙏❤️

Your video popped up when I was searching 1930s quilt fabric. I bought a bundle of 1930s fat eighths recently and wasn’t sure what to do with them but now I do. Lovely video and the little extras cat, chicken and funnies made me smile. Sending greetings from Surrey, UK. 🙂
