Nice work but use a brake ring spanners whilst doing up brake pipes. That's why you have worn down flats on the brake pipes.

Just binged watched all episodes of this today as it's raining where I am. Congratulations on a beautiful job. I admire your seemingly unlimited skills. Just one question what happens the completed bikes do you sell them on or keep them. Thanks for the enjoyment.

What I would be interested to know is what happens to all the mischievous water after cleaning. Is there a process with a filter system or how does it work?

Kudos to you for explaining the process of an outstanding restoration of a beautiful machine. I'm in the process of hopefully buying a 1999 Ducati 748.

At 12:22 The dot on the nut shouldn't be considered, it must have been done by an other mecanic. The real dots are on the pinion under the washer under the nut. I just love all your very nice videos and you are abble to work on all kind of bikes just the Honda 400 V four for example.

Coincidentally and amazingly, I just picked up a 2001 748 Biposto for myself. It needs lots of maintenance because I have no service records to go with it and it's at 20,000 miles. Any tricks or pitfalls I should know that won't be in the Haynes service manual? Also, how do I get one of those I-shaped pully holders? And what's the app you used to do the belt tension by sound???? Or if I'm unfamiliar with the desmodue engine, should I punt and pay a qualified mechanic? As is, the bike seems to run fine but who knows how old things like the belts, in-tank fuel lines and other bits are. I don't want to just ignore it all and end up with a blown engine. At least the tires are good!

What is your experience with the longevity of this without an adhesion promoter? A lot of people say it will peel off after a while and that the adhesion promotor is a necessary step.

what a piece of kit though, so engineered down to the last point. Those Japanese engineers can be just as obsessive about it as anything.
