How did you get the curve on the right to be smooth like that? I’m sorry I don’t think I caught it in the video. Also how does changing the gauge of wire change any of the data you’re showing just out of curiosity? How would amperage or throttle curve or any of that change if let’s say a person went from an ic2 connection to an ic3? Does how much amperage the battery or esc connector can handle affect the data in any way that you’ve shown? I ask all this because I recently put a castle 1010 series motor in my arrma granite grom and it’s the first time in a while I’m giving castle electronics another chance Greetings from Florida, USA!!!!
@StewMac5705 күн бұрын
@@jonahshetterly3515 there is a setting for the curve to be liner or curve. Curve will make it smooth Changing the thickness of the wire reduces resistance which in turn reduces amps and less voltage sag. Changing just the connectors would have a small impact on amps

Kindly, I have an xlx2 and don't have all these settings, so I had to use the radio to make some adjustments like you did, but when I left the punch of the esc at 0% which is full power, the esc was stalling on the starting line, so I had to make it to 100% maybe next time I try 50% or something in between! Meanwhile the graph is good and it works. Thanks for shearing

Hello, Steve just wanted to say thank you for everything that you do for us out here. One question is there any way possible that you can help us with some of the tunes on KZbin? Some of us don't have social media like Facebook or Instagram. If you could maybe put something up here. I heard recently you had a cheat sheet up. Any little bit like that could help us out here also. Again appreciate you have a great day

Very good, thanks for the info, I always tried to do these adjustments with the xlx2, but I never succeeded that I had to purchase another radio transmitter to make some adjustments. Maybe in the coming future, they will also replace the xlx2 and the Mamba 8s because they are a bit slow when using data logging!

its not working for me. the second mine hits the amps its set to it drops back down to 40 watts (what the internal discharge is limited to) and the charger starts heating up. i dont get it. only difference is im discharging a 4s and my power supply is only 10 amps but cant imagine the power supply is limiting what can be discharged through the resistors

So how is the power output of this esc? I was thinking about picking one up, but im already running a castle mamba Monster x8s, so would it be an upgrade cause of the software that allows for more timing or a downgrade ?
@StewMac5703 ай бұрын
Depends on what cell count you are using. The ghost is good for 2 - 4s where the MMX8S is 2 - 8s. If your just running 2s the ghost RC Cobra is and upgrade in-terms of power delivery. Then yes it has 120deg of total timing where the MMX8S is only 45deg. Being a 32bit processor is faster processor than the MMX8S. It also has double the amount of data logging.

For programmed throttle yeah you just use a normal throttle. Just use the single speed and set it to 100%. In the esc I would set the activation to 30% throttle so it will give you 30% worth of throttle to drive the car back on.

the adjustable top arm (front and rear) are not that useful. the camber angle is not to the end point of the suspension, because the suspension arm of TT02 are much shorter than type S. the suspension arm of type S almost reaches the centre of the wheel, change the camber angle from type S's TRF arm does change the wheel camber angle. for TT02 change the angle of chamber jsut change the angle of tilting, the point you changed is far away from the centre of the wheel.
