Thanks for sharing your adventure, Creek. Besides smallmouth bass and northern pike, did you catch and/or see any other types of fish species there?
@creekfishers2739Ай бұрын
@@Fingolfin3423 yes, there are plenty of bluegill and crappie if you want to catch a meal. Also, walleye are in the lake, however me and my cousin have tried extensively to catch one and haven’t managed to yet.

Time stamp 14:40 You clearly need a jump scare warning. It's very unprofessional to omit this, as it could be harmful to your more sensitive viewers. Please be considerate and provide appropriate warnings to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone.

hey creek fisher, great video! My buddy and I were thinking about trying steelhead this year for the first time. Can you tell me the general area where you were? Not looking for the "secret spot" just don't know whether to fish chagrin falls, mentor, other suburb, etc. Thanks!

Man if you is close by me I'd smack the living piss out of you. Taking that decent bass home to eat when one that size is the product of the future because that was a female that'll lay eggs for the future. Assholes like you is what kills the future of fishing

Awesome video & catches. Planning on making a trip in March from Cincinnati, picking my son up from Case for spring break. Any tips and techniques greatly appreciated.
@creekfishers27396 жыл бұрын
I've had the most success here fishing minnow lures such as the rapala husky jerk, which is pretty much my go-to for a lot of species like this. I tried numerous days with a spinner, and have noticed a night and day difference of action when I switch to the husky jerk. Also if you have waders or the money to buy them, I highly recommend using them as opposed to being stuck on land and away from less fished areas. Good luck!
@scottwitte51896 жыл бұрын
Do you think the rapala husky jerk works well @ all time of the year? Seems like so many people drift spawn sacs under a bobber. I understand you have to change things up... Is early March a good time? Thanks
@creekfishers27396 жыл бұрын
I would love to try drifting egg sacs but I don't know where to get them lol. More power to you if you want to use the eggs! I have no experience fishing for steelhead in March, so you should look to make sure they are still in the area on the local fishing report.
