Two different artists at different stages of their career at the time. Both were recording artists but Cobra’s tunes were mostly war and gun themed tunes while Buju’s hit tunes were entertaining girl tunes. Buju was enjoying success with tunes that weren’t focused on guns, war and clash. He found a niche and dominated that space. Buju was just coming up in 1992. He was not prepared to clash Cobra or any of the warring DJs at the time. Cobra was the aggressor who came prepared to kill and Buju expertly diffused his aggression. Buju was smart to avoid that path on that night at Prison Oval and stayed clear of any war. That decision allowed him to sustain a long and stellar career, reaching heights that’s the envy of most DJs.

Watching from the UK🇬🇧 . In my opinion Watching this clash, Cobra got nothing but envy and jealousy for Buju . This's, the problem, with some of us Jamaicans. We don't like, seen each other process . Cobra exposed the previous year, so why want to ruined your fellow brother just breaking the business ? I don't care who wants to feel offended, England might be cold and don't get much sunshine ☀. But i rather die here, than live back in Jamaica 🇯🇲 . You don't see the Asians, or the Chinese bringing down each others . They start off small, they share one roof. Just to put everything in context. Shabba would be the Father for all of them with the voice and motivation.( He inspired them) But next in line would have to be Buju. Talent wise he is next to non .Dynamics wise he has no second..but there is alot of unfortunates in his life..Self dis-structive..kartel says he was Addi Bontan before .because is buju spired him. Buju was the man who change the mindset off dancehall artists let them know that as as artist you can have all ten number songs behind each others.
