Don't really know what goes on inside the heads of high ranking officials of INDOPACOM, we can only speculate, my guess is that they're exposing their A-10 pilots to PH terrain in detail, not just doing single flybys but multiple passes over the same areas where they foresee potential hotspots or places where the potential enemy and the combined US & PH forces will most likely clash in a conflict scenario plus it helps the American pilots to get really familiar with the different places in PH, important places or locations such as Airbases, Army bases, Naval bases, Major bridges, Highways, Power plants, Dams, Strategic buildings, Strategic Ports, Strategic Islands, important buildings,etc., which could help them in matters relating to flight duration times, flying from airbase to this point, flying from airbase to that point and the amount of fuel they're gonna expend on those sorties, etc. This is also be an opportunity for them to work together with the PAF especially the pilots flying the A-29 Super Tucanos, & other CAS Aircrafts of PAF.

Yes the B-1 Lancer will remain relevant in today's modern warfare. It could see extensive action should the "US SPECULATED CHINA INVASION OF TAIWAN AROUND 2027" really materialize. In this speculated conflict, the B-1 Bomber because of it's flexibility, apart from long range precision strikes it will also be used in CAS missions. The B-1 bomber's counterpart in a US vs. China showdown would the Chinese H-6 Strategic bomber. It outshines the chinese bomber in all aspects from speed, range, payload, & service ceiling. The only thing thats in favor of the Chinese bomber is it's greater numbers, 200+ H-6 bombers vs. less than 50 B-1 Bombers.

The Block 20 is a much improved fighter with BVR capabilities: AESA radar, FCS, targeting pod, bvr missiles & now in-flight refueling. These 24 fighters are an even better platform for our skilled pilots. Just imagine them in the MRFs… whenever.

Our PAF fighter pilots love the FA-50 with it's excellent performance & reliability, it's a "poor man's fighter jet." The block 20 version of the FA-50 will enable this aircraft to perform MRF like capabilities but still won't match many if not all of the F-16 or Jas Gripens performance levels. The Tejas jet's main selling point is it's ability to carry the Brahmos NG, though this missile is still under development, so we'll have to wait further. Sad thing though coz our leaders in the legislative branch have been giving the AFP a hard time in securing enough funding for the Modernization of AFP, with the low budget they're getting, no way they could procure new MRFs, FA-50 Blk.20's nor Tejas jets. I wish for this to change so that our soldiers can make us proud of their enduring service to the nation 24/7!

What can I say female aviators have come a long way. These female pilots of the Mig-31 are no ordinary pilots as high altitude flying is no easy feat. The Mig-31 is still in service with the Russian Air Force, it's a good piece of engineering. Overall it's a good interceptor because of its great speed, it can reach any point faster than any fighter jet in the world. Although endowed with lightning fast speed the MIG-31 isn't suited for close range aerial combat or dogfight coz they're not designed or optimized for maneuvering, they can't make short quick turns like the other Russian aircrafts like the Mig-29, Su-27, Su-30, Su-34, Su-35, etc. They're designed for BVR (Beyond Visual Range) combat, once they fire their missiles they head back home.

It would depend on the potential and probable threats I was facing. The obvious choice is the F-35 or F-15 or F-16...but there are several excellent choices out there. The Gripen comes to mind as an all-around excellent war plane. I would avoid Russian/Chinese aircraft for several reasons. If you can get them, the French Rafale is a good multi-role aircraft. There are lots of choices but given their track record in Ukraine and the Middle East, I'd avoid Russian aircraft and the Chinese don't really have any kind of track record that you can trust.

I would look at my countrys threat from adversaries and how I would use the airplane. For strike missions one platform performs better. For defending my turf, I have other options and another plane is better. Then another figure is for a prolonged conflict where there is flying 24/7. How many planes can be in the air at the same time, some are on the ground for maintenance.
