@ripplesnatureinspiredaquar6870Ай бұрын
Thanks for your appreciation. It's a lot of encouragement for us. In this type of setup we do not rely much on water column fertilization but rather depend on root tabs - we have used generous quantity of ADA Bottom Plus. Water column we recommend mainly ADA Brighty K and ADA Minerals. Water change is very important. We have followed weekly 40% change

Very beautiful, thanks to entire Ripples team, want to know the light used as lighting requirements for ferns are not too intense, 2nd have you used aqua soil to maintain ph,3rd apart from bacteria what additive you have used to strike that balance, I mean salty shrimp type product and fertiliser schedule, 4th have you used RO water or normal tap water because water change of 750 litre tank is tiring ,automatic water change does not work really without you dirty your hand ( British call it husbandry😂)

Thanks for your appreciation. Here are the responses you wanted: 1) We have used 2 nos ONF Flat One (3ft) installed at about 1.5 ft above water level 2) Yes we have use ADA Amazonia and ADA Power Sand 3 and 4) We use RO water (less than 20 TDS) and remineralize the same. Initially we used Salty Shrimp Minerals but now we are using APT Sky In Part 2 and 3 of this video we will share some more details
Hello Sir, Greetings from Bangladesh ❤ The view of the tank from above looks absolutely stunning! Could you please share which plants you’ve used at the top of this setup? I’m really curious!

@@ripplesnatureinspiredaquar6870 although i want to suggest places i can't since i my self dont know about it in much detail coz m an introvert and i dont venture outside, it was just becoz of this hobby i started goin out more often even then i haven't really explored much but you can experience it near the northeast part of Goa. Thts where Goa's one of the largest wildlife sanctuary is 'Madhai wildlife sanctuary' (which is nearest to me) and there are many more but i m yet to go there. ..since it fall under western ghats i feel most of species would be same as tht but last year near a small water creek i noticed some cichlid in shallow water which were much smaller than normal ones, so after goin home i tried to research about the western ghat cichlids where i couldn't find anything but noticed they looked similar to orange chromide cichlids but were smaller and had red patterns and red central dot after which i tried to catch them for two days but failed and after that they just disappeared even after week i couldn't find them near that creak

Hello sir, even tho i discovered this channel early during my initial days of aquascaping i didn't really focused alot on your content. ..but today as i have gained some experience in it i find channel is gold to us scrapers in India..... Also would like suggest, if u could than plzz make scape of Indian exclusive plants and fishes. My suggestion would for it would be : Plants: Hygrophila pinnatifida Rotala roundofolia pink Crypts found in India Java fern Some lengdra species of plant (which i forgot the name of) Fishes: Danios (but not zebra) Pea puffer And i dont much fishes from Indian which thrive in planted aquarium This just my suggestion if you plan to do any upcoming tank
@ripplesnatureinspiredaquar6870Ай бұрын
Sorry for my late response. I also appreciate the effort you have taken to give us this valuable suggestion. I have had setup Indian Native Fish only habitats (kzbin.info/www/bejne/hmO2gqV5rN2oaKcsi=jpu0bVhAf2FRRDYZ, kzbin.info/www/bejne/en7Qc6SjmdqYmtEsi=xKAbstRoCIKWyokp) before but not along with Indian plants. I have definitely taken a note of this idea and will surely execute the same. I appreciate your fish suggestion except Pea puffer. They are extremely cute but difficult to make them eat aquarium food (kzbin.info/www/bejne/jHzJaXWdeJ1nbZosi=dGwtWdeJX7ThaHKa) and hence we end up killing them. So I have stopped keeping them

Green spot algae

Sir when is the right time in a day to dose npk fertilizer and liquid CO2 to planted aquarium
@ripplesnatureinspiredaquar6870Ай бұрын
Sorry for the late response. First please stop dozing liquid CO2, they have lots of harmful chemicals which are not good for any aquarium ecosystem. Best time to doze fertilizer, in our opinion, is after an optimum CO2 level has builtup in the water. We normally start our CO2 dozing 1/2 hours before aquarium lights are turned on. That gives time for good CO2 levels in water, so that when lights are turned on the plants are in the best position to absorb supplied nutrients

@ripplesnatureinspiredaquar68702 ай бұрын
To be frank we have not done DIY setups for quite sometime so it will be unfair of us to remark. To our little knowledge, soil and vermicompost are best used for terrestrial plants. Underwater over time they may not work well. You can consider using any aquarium soil at least and use other DIY stuff, that way your chances of success will be more

@ripplesnatureinspiredaquar68703 ай бұрын
Brown algae or diatomes are common at the early stages. 1) Aerate tank well for 14 hours after switching off CO2 2) Use ADA green bacter. assuming you have used Bacter 100 or equivalent bacter 3) As a preventive measure use small sucker mouth catfish like SAE or Ottocinclus
