I actually like this fanfare better than the current one. Something more majestic about it, and the 1990-1997 logo felt more like something that made for a perfect sight and sound in a movie theater.

Actually, the original is the best. The original opera singer had higher octaves

If they wanted to honor Universal's 100th Anniversary they would have brought this back. I'm sorry but except for the TV series "Scorpion" and the "Scream" reboot Bryan Tyler doesn't know how music effects the audience.

John Williams, Hans Zimmer, Andre Desplat...So many great composers, but there is just something so different about James Horner. He was different compared to the others. Like as though the music was intricately a part of him, and he just exuded that with every song. Incomparable and Unparalleled, there will never be another like him. Thank you for the music.

Please somenone help: So I've watched 3 different versions of this live performance and there has been 3 different clarinet players. The first one you could really hear how the tone holes were closed. The second one, not so much. This one not at all. Why?

I heard this piece three times in concert, and a few more concerts via KZbin, and Ushakova is the one I like best. She belts it out, but doesn't force it into a solo song for her. And there is Eddah, of course. Who did make it her song. 🤗I have Eddah at home. I can't take Natalia UIshakova home. 🙂

I'm a huge film score enthusiast and I have a decent collection, but nothing is as great as hearing a James Horner score I've never listened to before. He was truly blessed by God with the ability to perfectly capture emotions in his music. His wife said that his music makes people feel understood, and that's exactly how it makes me feel.
