This hack makes IA3 look like a pit hack for beginners. Length of completion aside, it's much more robust, and while difficulty wasn't the aim of this hack, it requires a lot more in-depth and nuanced understanding about the game than IA3. Understanding of the game, and how the glitches work has also signifcantly progressed since IA3 was created. So it's not really a fair comparison.

I'd be surprised if the intended route was much longer than 5 minutes... that'd mean so much more post-boss gameplay. But also, given that I have literally no clue what the intended route for the post-boss segment could be, it might very well be the case ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Also, good to know that the video timing being off by an entire minute isn't just an issue on my end. KZbin (or maybe partially Twitch? I just directly exported from there) is good software for sure.

In case you mean Item Abuse 1 or 2: This right here is absurdly much more difficult than Item Abuse 1 or 2, it's not even debatable. In case you mean Item Abuse 3: This right here is more difficult than Item Abuse 3, although some individual segments of Item Abuse 3 (most notably the block duplication autoscrolling room) do come somewhat close to this.

I'm still surprised somebody actually went for this clear. 0:12 hfPLZ you can reset in a movie file, which allows you to show off the quotes. 0:55 Imagine going through the effort of flying at a constant height, just so Mario stays on screen. 1:18 I still love how you got the x-subpixel that makes Mario jitter back and forth. 37:28 When building this I didn't realize that 8-speed keys prevent you from loosing a key when you scroll the camera down, which is the one thing you have to handle during the first 10 loop. 4:21:40 That "hi" is completely accidental. The BG doesn't line up this way in LM. 6:38:14 What is this vertical orange bar at the screen boundary, why didn't I wrap the DACIN at the top?? 6:40:25 Wait, did those -8 speed keys fit between the P and the E? It's a miracle they don't get caught on anything. 6:40:26 People will cringe when they see my key alignment compared to this piece of art. 6:40:27 I love how there's 1 frame where only the auto scroll moves. Also, had I realized that 8-speed keys allow you to beat this is in 1 loop without juggling, I would just require 1 loop, but oh well, you can't be omniscient, so >6h it is.

The "hi" is completely accidental from my point of view as well. I just chose a random height and went with it. I didn't even realize it said "hi" until it was pointed out during the premiere. Yes, the -8 speed keys are jammed between the P and the E. You can in fact fit all 11 keys through there if you want to, it is however a 2 pixel window on the x-axis. The x-coordinate at which I aimed the keys was specifically chosen to make this possible. I'm not yet convinced that this can be done in 1 loop without juggling. So far, I think that 2 loops are needed unless you require some (mild) juggling. Certainly not 11 loops, though. When are you uploading a video of your route? :)
