You can walk there in about 2 minutes without having to cross any street. The lake is past spot #8 and yes you can fish and swim in the lake also you can take a raft.

Did you have a chance to “sample” / “prospect” the river?? I ask only because Keysville is open to FREE prospecting if only using a: Sniping tool. Sluice pan. Shovel. 5 gallon bucket. Small shovel or screwdriver type picks. Only 3/4 of a mile is allowable. I think there are signs posted beginning and end of limit

I didn’t. This site is right after the dam for Lake Isabella. Not sure if that would make it a good place for that or not.

@13:04 Is it actually possible to see Utah mountains from California mountains? I know it's a dumb question but I can't be the only one wondering when he said that
@DayTripAdventure6 ай бұрын
It’s not a dumb question. You caused me to think more about what I had said. According to google a human can only see roughly a 140 miles on a clear day at that elevation. I was oriented in the right direction but it seems it would’ve been impossible to actually see the Great Basin or beyond into Utah. Thanks you for the question. 🥾👍🏕️
