Thank you so much for the kind words. It’s a beautiful spot. I’m pretty sure that generators are fine. It’s a forest service campground so I believe quiet time is at 10.

You can go online to recreation.gov and reserve a site.

@@DayTripAdventure I'm thinking of going there or along the Kern river. Have you been checking out campgrounds along the Kern river as well? I think I heard you saying something once about checking out campgrounds that way. Mammoth is just so hard to book.

I love this campground but the fishing has been horrible the last 2 years and the bears are getting out of hand. Last year while I was there, one broke into a trailer while people were inside. People have been feeding the bears and the deer so now they are looking for handouts. Go out and enjoy nature people but know the do’s and don’ts. Love your videos. Keep up the good work.

Thanks for saying that about the bears. I really need to do a better job at that. People please leave the sites better then you found them and also the bears it seams cute to feed them but it hurts them they become dependent on humans for food and possibly could hurt someone and then the bear gets blamed and put down. No one wants that! 👍😀🏕

Do you ever hear of people being killed or injured by bears? I'm basically trying to figure out how safe it is for families to camp there, especially for families with little kids.

I’ve never heard of that happening. I know people do see bears there often. There’s a lot of precautions I take when camping in bear country. I use the bear box like a pantry. All food stays in the bear box except when I’m eating and we try to be done eating before dusk

I think there is a place in town but not at the campground.
