The most disappointing computer I've owned next to the M3. If you do any kind of compositing, 3-D rendering get ready for huge disappointment. These computers are not built for that which is crazy have to go back to a Windows computer to get great performance.

Once MacBook Pros get tandem OLED or better screen tech like microLED, and gets rid of the notch, it could become the perfect laptop. Guess we need to wait for M5 or M6 generations for those improvements. 😅

I am planning on upgrading from the 2018 i9 MBP to M4. I am into data analysis/science, build ML models and use virtual machine for Power Bi. I was initially planning to the M4 Pro (14C/20G) and 42GB ram but I am really confused if the Pro is the right option or Max is ideal. Max is beyond my budget as the baseline Max chip is an additional AED 2500. If there’s anyone who can guide me, it will greatly appreciated.

The max with addition GPU will provide a faster ML training time. But apart from that the pro will be able to handle all your tasks

05:43 Slightly slower is not really correct, the M4 has less than half the power of the M4 Pro, so the M4 Pro is actually the better value, if one can afford it/ needs the power. But you are 100% right that most people wont need anything more than the base model M4 MBP :D

Many of the reviews of this monitor say that they can't get the cam to work with their computers but it seems to be working for you. The LG documentation isn't really helping. @michael-4k400022 күн бұрын
Just about every system out there over the last 5 years provides a "clear & crisp" sound. Sound goes from 20hz-30,000Hz. Humans can hear lows lower then 20hz, one can feel the vibration. What we want in a system is one that can go from the low 20Hz to the very high 28,000-30,000hz. Just about NO lifestyle system can do that and more then likely never will. That's not to say the Sonos Arc doesn't sound amazing, and its ease of use is the most important variable.

It's surprising that, "powerline", is so little known. Over the past twenty years I have been using my home's electrical circuit to get the internet to the farthest reaches of my home. At first I didn't believe it would work. How could those delicate little signals be heard above the 'noise' of electrons rushing between my Television, Vacuum cleaner, Toaster, Exercise Bike and Fridge Freezer? Hadn't they heard of electromagnetic radiation? Well, apparently, they had, and knew much more about it than me, because it works really, really well. First I bought a TP-Link system, which I used for about 10 years without problems. I then upgraded to a Devolo system which made better use of the faster WiFi protocols that were becoming available, Now, one of the units has broken when a microwave fell on it, and so I'm getting a new system and may well chose the TP Link Deco P9.

This device is a great idea but is so poorly executed. I believe the F9 is a generic device that Hansshow is marketing. Issues: frequently doesn't respond to touch in the menu systems, you will be lucky to get it to connect via Bluetooth, never was able to connect to an external speaker - no it can't connect to the Tesla display. You can connect to phone but only for music - apps like Netflix don't pass sound through. Screen has a blue tint that doesn't match the car display. No screen adjustments can be made using Hansshow's firmware. Front camera takes a very long time to come on from steering wheel control - like 5+ seconds. Clock sometimes is correct depending on which screen you are on. The selection of screen layouts available seem to be from another generation - developers please compare with the ones in the Tesla car display. No plaid display as advertised. Spent considerable time trying to get the SIM port working - never got it to work. My workaround was to install a OBD T-Mobile SyncUp DRIVE to provide cell service. Hansshow support is hopeless as they will write back short somewhat related responses and then on further requests say they will forward it to their support team - a black hole... Suggest you find this device from another source - if you are lucky you might be able to get it from the manufacturer and be able to skip having to see the dumb Hansshow animation every time you start your car!

In my street there are more than 25 11/22kWh chargers which cost considerably more (€0,40 to €0,55) than I would have to pay at a Tesla Supercharger (€0,21 to €0,30). I live in the Netherlands.

I live in an apartment and have chargers in the apartment garage, but I probably supercharge 50% of the time because it's so convenient. I pass one on my way to work and it's convenient to charge for 10 to 15 mins while I'm in the convenience store. I live in a large metro area so it works for me. The only time I truly had to wait to charge was my first day after buying car because the dealer sold it with no charge and I couldn't access supercharger or dc charger because my adapter hadn't come in. It only takes 10 to 15 mins to add a couple of days worth of mileage.

Excellent review brother. I'm at a point in my life where I'm not motivated just to chase tech, I've been on a de-cluttering and consolidation drive for quite a while now. This helps to convince me that I could find a place for this in my life and it would earn its keep. There are some things I'm still not convinced by, things I think will mature over the next 3 or 4 years. Vision Pro, if nothing else, seems to have acted as a catalyst. So for me, not now, even at this attractive price, but soon I think.

Vision pro absolutely didn't acted as a catalyst at all , they have just a powerful user database with hundred millions of followers who discovered something that we are doing since years and years now ; VR headset , apple is really new in this industry and there ecosystem is empty ; most app in the AVP are mainly metaquest's port by now, dev don't want to work on this OS, Metaquest ecosystem exist still 2014 . I just gonna tell you something ; you are full of prejudice about that tech, and are apple marketing brainwashed. Buy one quest 3 , try and of you don't like it , sell it...
