Nobody warned me mosquito problems in mackinaw. It’s the worst I have ever seen in my life

A trailer that size really shouldn’t be your first one. But not my cash. Guess we all start sometime and like he said it’s just money.

I use my tire monitor all the time we’re on the road one thing I see you do that I don’t do is when I put air in my tires. I use the meter not the air gauge cause I had high air pressure one time and it was due to putting air in with the air gauge, and not the monitor, but I love your shirt though

You found the best fudge on the island....Murdick's Fudge. I worked there for 5 summers. Mackinac Island is a real treasure. So much history and beauty. Your video was the best! ❤

You have a brave daughter. My oldest daughter actually fainted after riding her first roller coaster.
@discoveryboundrv17 күн бұрын
Oh No! At least your oldest has a great story to tell others. Sophia said thank you. She didn’t feel brave, but I told her she sat front seat on both coasters like a champ and had nothing but smiles right after.

Why are you traveling with 2 campers?
@discoveryboundrv18 күн бұрын
Hi Alice. We bought Pam’s Mom an RV to travel with us for a year. Nothing better than retiring and spending time with the grandkids building memories. We call it the “Mobile Mother-In-Law Suite”. 😀

Thanks Derek! We had no idea that the park would be so much fun and accommodating with low crowds, great food, and fun for all ages. Definitely, a surprise for us and we are glad we could make 2 videos out of it so everyone can see more fun. February is absolutely the best time to go. 👍

I have been in this situation many times. We crib our wheels up now to avoid scraping on the way in, just like you level once you are in place. It is a pain. But the extra time saves your rig.

Try an NHRA event. Bring ear protection. If you thought that NASCAR race was loud, at an NHRA event. the noise gets inside you. I'm not joking.

I guess you know you are near the worlds original Buccees, in Lake Jackson. Just turn right, go across the bridge to surfside, and it isnt far up on the right.
@angiefitzgerald140929 күн бұрын
Watch videos. There are tons of videos and checklists out there to at least have a starting point. Also, your wife needs to be taking an active role in all parts of hooking up, towing, unhooking, parking, etc. You never know when there could be an emergency. You should both be well-versed and confident in all parts of the journey. Also maybe you did this and just didn't show it, but be sure you wash off the inside and outside of the sewer hoses and any attachments (elbows, backwash, 45s, etc) before you store. Even though under the trailer, it is going to be awful next time you pull the hose(s) out! Use functional hand signs that work for the two of you, not whatever formal something she tried and you couldn't see. You need something better that is the thumb inside or out. You don't have to standardize across 50 drivers, just the 2 of you! Make things a little bigger, maybe even vocalize with it. No one will pay any attention but the two of you. But, she needs to cut the idle chatter, like "Lee you are dragging in the back" in that slow southern drawl with the urgency of spring flowers! Love your trailer. We have a new 2024 Jayco Eagle. You will do great because you are happy and willing to learn. The guy that has been doing it 30-40 years and his way is the only way is the worst to deal with. Enjoy the adventures that await!

I have to admit, while I'm not a NASCAR fan, this video has definitely made me wanna be on the infield for a big race. It looks so fun. I loved the Suburban and Airstream. Love you guys, safe travels and God bless
