This is one of my favorite videos that you two have done. First, it is so nice to see Pam and Gaby's home town. The short tour of Lübeck was lovely. I really appreciated Lee and his brother demonstrating how to repurpose farm items, not just to save money but also not to waste materials. The best part of the video was the genuine concern Lee and his brother had for the downed pilot. It is so nice to see a family that cares about and helps others.

We would be real curious if you were to do a video with your Mom and discuss her experiences and what she thought about her visit to the US.

You're driving me crazy. They are blocks, not bricks. Your earth anchors were genius.

Thank you Pam for the your. We haven't been back to Germany since our honeymoon in 1984. We loved it. Ludwig's excentricities in Bavaria were fun.

I was stationed in Ktowm Germany for 18 months in 1969 to 1970. Love it and the people were awesome. The main fountain on the main street we put soap into the whole street was bubbles.

Hope your mom enjoyed her visit and can return soon! It was fun to see Germany. We’ve been a couple of times, Tubingen and Munich, to see our son while he was studying there, then later visited our daughter in Mannheim and Heidelberg while she was doing a summer job. I love the red tile roofs!

Great content as usual Lee and Pam. Thank you for the Deutschland content. I was confused by the “goodbye full time rv life” in the title?

Bending rebar with a torch 🤦♂️. The rebar is now crystallized and brittle. Only one cold bend allowed. Is that weld able rebar ? There is a specific rebar that can be welded.

Why didn't take them to Atlanta instead of Orlando

In the previous video, we had to go get warranty work done on the RV in Gainesville. So we just did both at the same time.

AAhhhhhhhh....! You poured a "footer" not a foundation. You're laying block, not brick. And they may be upside down--hard to tell. The thicker web goes on top. Those earth anchors are $30 at the store because they're certified to some standard or the other. Also, they're called a "deadman" by most everyone but the company that makes 'em. And I don't think they'll have much effect being placed mid-depth of the block; they should have been on the interior to prevent wall movement.... I was a bit relieved to find this wall is mostly decorative and not structural. I'm a tad, actually a whole lot, OCD and it drives me crazy to hear incorrect and inaccurate terms used, just like using the wrong tool for the job. My apologies..... But hey, it looks nice and if it serves the purpose.....Bob's your Uncle...!
