Beautiful watch. The only thing that bothers me about it is the humble 38 hours of power reserve. Omega's Seamaster line can do 55 hours. This is the one thing Breitling needs to work on.

For the “direct copy” watches I stumbled upon Davosa watches which I think look amazing. But I’d prefer something that has its own taste (already got couple of Pagani Design “clone” homages so box ticked there 😅)

For me it’s style over substance, cost plays a part, and not the brand’s highlighted here, as I’m not after high-end watches, unusual unknown brands, one was my 34mm Marrel - FHF 70 - Ancre 15 Rubis - Production Period: Unknown, probably around 1957, it’s gold plated, manual wound, black sub dial, certainly a cut above the rest of these KZbin videos.

You got the call because with how the UK is right now 90% of the customers who live on cheap credit have been wiped out by interest rates... Porsche gave me the same thing for a GT3... funny how people who can afford it now get calls... I'd have bought another brand company like Rolex should struggle now.

I don't understand how there are so many watches in one shop, how did they acquire so many? Obviously it was over many years as I think the grandad started the buying and selling so they got them very cheap and now they are worth a lot lot more!! His book which I have a copy is more like a picture/photo book. His shop is like a museum of vintage Rolexes rather than a shop.

Beautiful Watch Congratulations! It is really said that you are unable to wear your watches in London, may I ask if you live there and if so when do you have the opportunity to wear them?
@TheWatchScientistsАй бұрын
Yes unfortunately that’s the state of things at the moment. I do wear watches in London, but nothing above 500€ unless I travel abroad which happens every now and again
@BlueCollarLuxeАй бұрын
@ That is good to know. I tend to go without a watch anytime I travel out of the U.S. but that’s just because I’m always a little on guard when I’m away from home. Enjoy the new watch, I’m hoping to get the call on a new Sub in 2025!

Why don’t you just get insurance and enjoy wearing it. The OP isn’t worth that much so won’t be a target anyway.

This is huge! Congratulations Nele. This is my favourite OP colour and I have been lusting after the green OP 36 ever since they launched it. I hope and pray that you and I and Chris keep winning together like this for years to come. Enjoy your watch and wear it in good health, Congratulations again. Cheers!

5 months is impressive! I imagine the 40 is less requested than the 36
@mattsaАй бұрын
@@TheWatchScientists The 40 wears smaller than it sounds due to the biggish bezel and therefore smaller dial. Apparently it’s closer to 39mm but I haven’t measured it. I have an 18cm wrist and tried the 36 but it looked like a child’s watch on me! I also had my name down for a green OP 41 so I love your choice!
