These trails look pretty good. How would they compare to Allamuchy trails that are just to the north of St Stephens? I rode at Allamuchy for the first time this summer and the trails weren't that great. There wasn't any flow and it seemed like they were more hiking trails than bike trails. There were so many rocks it was hard to even get going, also there were so many trees down. It was so bad we only did about 7 miles and left. I heard St Stephens was better. Does Marlin have an I9 wheelset? Looks like he has the blue I9 wheels.

marlon has i9 wheels yes. allamuchy is more beat up than stephens although it has a couple of solid dh lines for the most part stephens is higher quality. if you like gnar and tech allamichy is more that but it's not very well maintained in comparison to stephens.

@@allenkvextreme Yeah, that was it, Allamuchy wasn't maintained at all. I was really disappointed. I like more flow when riding XC. I also ride DH and love steep rocky stuff there, but on XC trails I like flow. Stephens is about 2 hours north for me so I'll give it another try. 3 weeks ago we went to Port Jervis in NY, just across from High Point State Park. That was awesome. If you haven't been I highly recommend it.,

Good ride buddy. My bike had the same noise recently and it turned out to be a bolt that holds my rear shock together was loose. Hopefully you were able to pinpoint whatever it was. Stay safe out there

The trails at hartshorn are amazing. I recently finally conquered all the climbs there! The progression is so addicting! I never thought I would enjoy climbing.

I have to get over to Port Jervis again. I’ve only ridden there once when I raced the Snowball’s Chance race a few years back in March. It was 16 degrees at the start! Nice ride and glad to see you’re active being a truck driver!

I think you could hone your riding skills by going fully rigid 29+ over the winter👍👍👍 Awesome trails. But a drone shot would show off the colours better. If you mounted a Bluetooth speaker in your water bottle cage, you could copyright your music and give advance warning to any hunters/ dog-walkers. Pax👌

Thanks for the good advice. I am definitely not into rigid bikes but I do like pain and suffering as a training for getting stronger I just haven't connected with rigid bikes like that.
